Great book, hate what audible has this broken down.
Revisado: 11-04-24
I've read nightshift before and really enjoyed the stories. I was hoping to listen to the book while my friend read the physical copy so we could discuss but the way audible has broken this anthology down is awful and just feels like a money grab. The chapters aren't labeled so you don't know what story you're on unless you remember or go back to beginning. They aren't even in the same order of the book. You can order this one and you're getting a random selection of stories out of order with no label to show even what story this is other than the opening narration. I'm not even sure they offer all of the stories in the three separate books because they don't even tell you the stories you can find in each book. Just "[insert title] and more!" which is extremely frustrating. The narration is great, and the stories are good, but audible needs to do better than whatever this is. Release the book in full or not at all. This is ridiculous.

Another great romance from Cat!

I really love Cats work and I love to see all the characters from other books connect into each other. This is another sweet (and at times sexy) romance.

another great one from Cat S.

Really loved this story, and the characters! I love the agonized way she writes Jack, and seeing him slowly fall madly in love and opening up to Oliver was very sweet.

CAUTION ⚠️ ⚠️ Heavy pedophilia
Revisado: 08-04-21
its a good book and I tend and like Littles works, but I could not complete this one, there are extremely graphic content including very graphic pedophilic sex scenes with just an over arching pedophilic tones. I can see the merit behind the book, little always does a great job at creating unsettling and down right terrifying scenes, but this was to much for me.

Historia
Quinn Maybrook and her father have moved to tiny, boring Kettle Springs, to find a fresh start. But what they don’t know is that ever since the Baypen Corn Syrup Factory shut down, Kettle Springs has cracked in half. On one side are the adults, who are desperate to make Kettle Springs great again, and on the other are the kids, who want to have fun, make prank videos, and get out of Kettle Springs as quick as they can.

I'm sorry I don't like the narrator.
Revisado: 07-29-21
I tried listening to this on audio book but I ended up just reading the hard copy. The narrators voice is kind of grating and really annoying when doing male voices. I had to return the audio book because I was so put off by the narration. The books story is over all a fun slasher-esk story, although don't expect some deep story or crazy fall out of your chair twist. With the amount of unabashed gore, I'm shocked this is considered YA, they really don't hold back I places. Anyways, I recommend the book, but I'd recommend buying the physical copy.

I absolutely LOVE this book!
Revisado: 03-21-21
wonderful vocal performance. Almost exactly what I imagine the main character sounds like. I personally love the story. It's an excellent ww2 era story, with the rare protagonist werewolf. The characters are great, and the villains feel genuinely creepy. This is my personal all time favorite book.
