Historia
Wyoming game warden Joe Pickett faces two different kinds of raging beasts—one animal, one human—in this riveting new novel from #1 New York Times bestseller C. J. Box. A rogue grizzly bear has gone on a rampage—killing, among others, the potential fiancé of Joe’s daughter. At the same time, Dallas Cates, whom Joe helped lock up years ago, is released from prison with a special list tattooed on his skin. He wants revenge on the people who sent him away: the six people he blames for the deaths of his entire family and the loss of his reputation and property.

Shake my head (spoiler!!)
Revisado: 03-05-24
Overall the story is great , I love the Joe Pickett series!! The killings at the end were unnecessary and didn’t make sense, nor did they add to the story or future stories .
Did Nate really need to lose another partner in order to get the motivation to go after a Solidad?? Also he has a daughter and there is no thought about her because , he’s achieved the state of yarick.
We get introduced to Joe’s Mom, with a basket full of secrets, also not wanting anything to do with her previous life, all of sudden show up heading to visit her long lost son only to stop near his house to stop and get killed, so the crafty killer can get away.
The end of this book seemed really rushed, this series deserves to be written better, than how this story ended .

Historia
Estevar Borros, one of the legendary sword-fighting magistrates known as the Greatcoats and the king's personal investigator of the supernatural, is no stranger to tales of ghosts and demons. When the fractious monks of the abbey rumoured to be the birthplace of the gods begin warring over claims of a new pantheon arising, the frantic abbot summons him to settle the dispute. But Estevar has his own problems: a near-fatal sword wound from his last judicial duel, a sworn knight who claims he has proof the monks are consorting with demons, a diabolical inquisitor, and a mysterious young woman.

More Greatcoats!!
Revisado: 01-10-24
What a good story! I admit the story started really slow, but like all good stories, you have to stick with it and watch it build. Estervar Boros is no Falcio Val Mond. Thank goodness he is not, he is his own Greatcoat! I hope Sebastian De Castle will continue with more stories of the Greatcoat’s!!

It’s a Wonderful Life
Revisado: 02-09-23
This story, in some ways reminds me of “It’s a Wonderful Life” it is nowhere near the movie. I was worried it would become sappy like a Hallmark movie. It doesn’t!! It is heartbreaking and heartfelt. I truly enjoyed this book and will keep an eye out for Kelly McNeil’s future books. The performance of Amanda Leah Cobb was exceptional! She really added to the story. The performance of a good narrator adds so much depth to characters in the book. I would say this story is worth a credit or purchase!!

Historia
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Don’t believe the bad review!!
Revisado: 09-28-22
WOW, do not believe the bad reviews on this book. Andy Weir wrote a great story with Artemis. I regret that I waited years before I decided buy. I mean it’s not The Martian, everyone would agree. Project Hail Mary was on pair , if not better than The Martian. Artemis is it’s own style of story. Andy Weir , world builds in this story. While I haven’t finished this story yet, I hope he creates another story with Jazz. She is intriguing. Rosario Dawson does a great job reading also.

Good story until....,,,
Revisado: 10-24-20
I like getting invested into a story. Watching the author build the characters in the book, till you care how the characters develop throughout the story. Plot twist are good see and add to the story and can come out of left field. Sometimes you walk way thinking “I didn’t see that, wow what great story!!” The turn of events in this story, don’t work out that way. I don’t know if it is the editing or the author just decided they had to end the story. All I can say is thank you for wasting my time. I feel bad for the narrators of the story, they did an excellent job . The Author should feel ashamed of themself, for what they did with the end

Enjoyed the start of a new series
Revisado: 08-27-20
I enjoyed this book as I did Nicholas Sansbury Smith's Hell Diver series. I believe it is accurate into a look of how quickly society could fall apart. I normally don't go looking for End of the world or Dooms Day stories, but it is easy to get caught up into this book. I think Ray Porter was a good choice and did an excellent job reading the story. I already pre-ordered book two and look forward to listening to it

You will not be sorry
Revisado: 12-19-15
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, this is a very engrossing story, that will catch you at the beginning and keep you wanting to go to the next chapter.
Have you listened to any of Zach Villa’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No this was the first I had heard with Zach Villa. I would be happy to find other books that he narrates.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Carl experience in Vietnam, is brutal. The author does a great job putting you there . Joe's dilemma with his mother and brother.
Any additional comments?
I wish the story was longer and characters fleshed out more. Some of the accusations with Carl weren't fully explained. As well as Carl's life.
