Historia
Some of us are natural-born empaths - those with an exceptional gift for feeling and understanding the emotions, circumstances, and needs of others. But empathy, teaches Karla McLaren, is a universal human skill that we can all learn to awaken and use wisely. With The Art of Empathy, you will learn, step-by-step, the art of experiencing through the eyes and hearts of those around you - and to connect with and support them most effectively.

Another work of genius.
Revisado: 02-17-25
Karla’s books are so clear and so actionable. She’s a genius. There is really an art to empathy and everyone should read this book. I’d rather find this in a hotel drawer than a bible. This book is actually useful if you want to be your best version.

Historia
In June 2021, the whole world was listening as Britney Spears spoke in open court. The impact of sharing her voice—her truth—was undeniable, and it changed the course of her life and the lives of countless others. The Woman in Me reveals for the first time her incredible journey—and the strength at the core of one of the greatest performers in pop music history. Written with remarkable candor and humor, Spears’s groundbreaking book illuminates the enduring power of music and love—and the importance of a woman telling her own story, on her own terms, at last.

Historia
Many listeners email me each day. They typically have problems with the men in their lives. The truth that most of them don't realize is that their emotionally unavailable man or narcissistic man has an undiagnosed syndrome, complex, or disorder. Men often don't seek diagnoses for these issues that have been an ingrained part of their personality since they were born. They want acceptance and a sense of belonging from their partners, and they are often as unable to get these things from his partner as she is unable to get emotional validation from him.

Demonizes People with ASD
Revisado: 09-01-22
If you have ASD, spare yourself the listen. This sloppy book cruelly depicts men on the spectrum. My husband and I both live on the spectrum, and he’s the most sensitive, compassionate person I’ve ever known. This is not a helpful guide; it feels more like a uneducated, bitter dig at men with ASD offering zero value due to its outdated generalizations and stereotyping. GROSS.
