Historia
From the author of the highly rated Ruins Of Mars Trilogy: The Man from Rome is a pulse pounding mythological thriller, set in modern-day Rome. When the brutalized body of a young woman is dredged from the Tiber river, an ancient vendetta between warring immortals flares to life once more. The ensuing fallout unleashes violence and chaos upon the streets of Rome, the likes of which few are equipped to handle. Those that are, take sides, turning Rome into a theater or war; a battleground of supernatural savagery.

Great listen, fun and interesting story!
Revisado: 02-06-20
Frost does a great job reading Quarles' The Man From Rome. The book is action packed and keeps you on your toes. The history and mythology woven in made it a fun and interesting take on older stories, you won't regret it!

Historia
Set against the turbulent backdrop of the near future, The Ruins of Mars opens on the discovery of an ancient city buried under the sands of the red planet. Images captured by twin sentient satellites show massive domes, imposing walls, and a grid work of buildings situated directly on the rim of Mars' Grand Canyon, the Valles Marineris. With the resources of Earth draining away under the weight of human expansion, a plan is hatched to reclaim Mars from the cold grasp of death.

I guess it's my fault for not doing more research, but I wasn't expecting the second half to be a self help book, which I have zero interest in

Historia
Survival in Man’s Second Dark Age...Three hundred years after the fall of society, the last fragments of civilization are clinging to life, living in the ruins of the ancient cities in nearly-medieval conditions. Technology has been reduced to legend, monsters roam the forests, and fear reigns supreme. But that is just the beginning...The wind-borne spores are spreading, disfiguring men and twisting their minds, turning them into creatures that threaten to destroy the townships.
