Historia
Alexander Grant is a little too good at a few too many things. Two dozen martial arts. Twice that many languages. Chess, the piano, sports, forging excused absences, you name it. He graduated high school top of his class 17 times. Of course, no one knows any of this. Not that he wants to go unnoticed. It’s just safer that way.

Rough start, great middle, mediocre ending.
Revisado: 02-17-20
I started listening to this audiobook a total of 3 times. The first 2 attempts just didn't grab my attention or intrest enough to devote 10+ hours to. That said, I looked at the rough outline for Ancient Among Us, I convinced myself to give it the benefit of the doubt that it will get better. I'm glad I did, Once the story was up and running, the book was hard to pause. Whenever I need to take my headphones off, I was counting down the minutes to pick up where I left off. That all said, I felt the ending was underwhelming. I felt like it was building to a climax, but the climax was basically a "to be continued..." I didn't know it was over until the credits were read aloud. That said, I can't wait to start Book 2, and pick up the story.

Historia
When you discover the world is a computer program, and you figure out that by altering the code you can time travel and perform acts that seem like magic, what can possibly go wrong? Pretty much everything. Just ask Brit, who has jumped around in time with such abandon that she has to coexist with multiple versions of herself. Now, Brit the Elder finds that her memories don't match Brit the Younger's.

Another frustrating entry...
Revisado: 01-13-20
This book is so good, until the last 30 minutes, and it causes the entire book to be a disastrous waste of time, Meyers created a world, and in the past 5 books, established the rules of this world. THE PAST CANNOT BE CHANGED! Having an entire book devoted to the fact that it can, but at the end revealing that it can't, is just... stupid! And the reasoning behind being even worse. And the aftermath is even worser (I know it's not a word). This book had so much potential, and it was all wasted. Fingers crossed that The Vexed Generation salvages what's become of this series.

Great Prequel

I loved the backstory and leadup to the movie. Gives you a better understanding of the motivations behind his actions. Definitely enjoyed it all the way through. The narrator is Uber talented as well. Hard to believe he voices EVERYONE. His ability to add uniqueness to each character made it even better.

Historia
The witnesses are legion, scattered across the world and dotted through history, people who looked up and saw something impossible lighting up the night sky. What those objects were, where they came from, and who - or what - might be inside them is the subject of fierce debate and equally fierce mockery, so that most who glimpsed them came to wish they hadn't. Most, but not everyone.

Slow tread to a fast sprint.
Revisado: 09-24-18
I was a little lost when it first started, not realizing separate stories were going on in alternating chapters. Once I did though, it started to make sense as stories intertwined and converged leading to the books climax. When a book ends and you're begging for more, what else could you ask for? 85 chapter's seemed daunting, but didn't feel like enough once the book concluded. Can't wait for what comes next.

Damn... so good!
Revisado: 03-30-18
This book, WOW! I read a book to be entertained, and boy was I! I made me laugh, made me angry, made me sad, and ultimately left me wanting more. I can’t wait to see how the story unfolds going forward. What I like the most about this book was “...of Nightmares” was more like a movie. One long plot and arc, while “...in Darkness” is more of a television show with subplots while still having an overall story arc. It was awesome and kept you guessing the entire time!
