Historia
George Orwell's nineteen Eighty-Four is one of the most definitive texts of modern literature. Set in Oceania, one of the three inter-continental superstate that divided the world among themselves after a global war, Orwell's masterful critique of the political structures of the time, works itself out through the story of Winston Smith, a man caught in the webs of a dystopian future, and his clandestine love affair with Julia, a young woman he meets during the course of his work for the government.

One of, if not THE most horrifying book ever
Revisado: 04-17-22
However depressing as this book may be, it is a must read for everyone. There is nothing more to be said, as everyone already knows what the book is about. The narration is spectacular.

Historia
George Orwell's timeless and timely allegorical novel - a scathing satire on a downtrodden society's blind march towards totalitarianism. The book tells the story of a group of farm animals who rebel against their human farmer, hoping to create a society where the animals can be equal, free, and happy. Ultimately, however, the rebellion is betrayed, and the farm ends up in a state as bad as it was before, under the dictatorship of a pig named Napoleon.

Absolutely everyone should read or hear this book
Revisado: 03-17-22
A masterpiece! Animal Farm is a divine look into politics and human nature that stands as true today as the day it was published. The pacing is great, and the ending, as is common with Orwell's storytelling, is horrifying. This book, moreso than 1984, should be thought in every classroom around the world. Yet, no student is to be given homework or tests reguarding this book, for if they see it as 'learning', they will forget it all imidiately after exiting the classroom. As for this specific narration: It's spectacular! One can tell that Benjamin May too cares deeply for this story and its meening. My only complaint would be that, for some reason, there's about 4 minutes of duplicate recordings played back-to-back. I assume these were 2 different takes that somwone forgot to erase one of. This happens at chapter 5 or 6, I don't remember which.

Historia
Twelve-year-old Sophie has never quite fit into her life. She’s skipped multiple grades and doesn’t really connect with the older kids at school, but she’s not comfortable with her family, either. The reason? Sophie’s a Telepath, someone who can read minds. No one knows her secret - at least, that’s what she thinks.... But the day Sophie meets Fitz, a mysterious (and adorable) boy, she learns she’s not alone. He’s a Telepath too, and it turns out the reason she has never felt at home is that, well...she isn’t. Fitz opens Sophie’s eyes to a shocking truth....

This book was WAY better than I expected it to be!
Revisado: 07-12-21
I got this book on a whim once when I had a spare Audible credit that I needed to use quickly before it expired. So I didn't really excpect much of this seemingly children's book. As such, I've put it off to the side for months, not willing to start hearing it. That was a mistake on my part, for once I finally gave it a chance, I couldn't put it down and had finished it in about 4 days. If you like fantasy - read this book! If you like innocent teenage drama - There are definitly better books in the genre, but I would still reccommend to give this a read.

Historia
Make sure the kids aren’t around! Just because you’re a grown-up doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the art of the children’s bedtime story. Nick Offerman presents this collection of 12 short stories written in the style of a classic kids' tale, but with a decidedly dark and adult approach. What really happened after Snow White died, from the perspective of the one medically trained dwarf? A naive wizard professor reports back from the trenches of an underprivileged school of magic. And much more!

This is the best book ever!
Revisado: 05-31-19
This may really be the best thing I have heard on Audible, no scratch that, the best thing I have ever heard PERIOD! The book consists several stories narrated by different famous cynics, with presentations and interludes to each story by the one and only, Ron Swanson! (Ron keeps calling himself Nick Offerman for some reason, but he can't fool me). The stories themselves are all cynical and realistic takes on famous children fantasy stories, or some original thoughts and feeling someone wrote.

Historia
In a world full of super powers, Felix has a pretty crappy one. He has the ability to modify any item he owns. To upgrade anything. Sounds great on paper. Almost like a video game. Except that the amount of power it takes to actually change, modify, or upgrade anything worthwhile is beyond his abilities. With that in mind, Felix settled into a normal life. A normal job. His entire world changes when the city he lives in is taken over by a super villain. Becoming a country of one city. A city state.

An adult and gory version of "The Gamer"
Revisado: 02-19-19
For those who read "The Gamer" webcomic, the story of this book is quite similar to that, if the protagonist suddenly decided to become a villain that deals with slaves and the black market.
The performance was quite good. A single male actor that was able to deliver the many male and female roles, while making all easily distinguishable from each other is rather impressive.
As for the story, at times I just couldn't understand what was going on, and found it hard to follow.
