A good listen

I really liked how it was a conversation and the background each chef brought to the table. You almost felt like you were at the table listening while they discussed why the food each made and the traditions involved. Also the wide range of background and cultures was great.

But most of all was the emotion. Each chef was able to not only share what foods were important but also why they were important. Would definitely recommend this to anyone that really loves food.

Easy listen

This is a fun story about an assassin that is almost retired and basically realizes that he is all alone and goes to a matchmaker for help. All of the dates don’t work but there is instant chemistry with the matchmaker herself. With action and giggles along with some sizzle I’m looking forward to the next installment in this series.

Fun Christmas Story

A single Mom who is going to do everything she can to make Christmas special for her little girl meets a stubborn Caribou who doesn't want to be Rudolph in the town's Christmas Parade.

Crystal is literally my hero in this book - but how can you not love a Mom that is doing whatever she can for her little girl. Kyle definitely steps up though. He falls for this little girl and wants to do whatever he can to be her Knight. I really enjoyed the interactions between Kyle and Mimi. Then you add the missions that he has and you can't help but chuckle.

If you want a lighthearted story that is sure to just bring a smile to your face and you enjoy Shifters you will definitely enjoy this one.

Logan McAllister isn't my favorite narrator but he did a great job with this one. I can't wait to listen to more stories from Kodiak Point.

Interesting take

While I enjoyed the story this probably wasn't my favorite to listen to. While Marie Smith does a good job narrating it just didn't draw me in.

I loved the concept of Gods and Demi-Gods in today's world and what happens when they fall in love - especially when they want just a regular mundane kind of life. It was fun listening to the interactions between Maverick AKA Cupid and his parents Aphrodite and Ares, and Roxanne with her mom Lady Luck. Both characters have had a rocky time in the love department and when they meet each other there is instant attraction but they have to learn to not only trust their feelings but also each other.

If you want something light with some humor this will fill the spot. It was a quick listen and easy to visualize the characters. Just expect it to be sizzling in parts (AKA every time Roxanne and Maverick are alone for more then 5 minutes).

Classic Langlias

Loved the story. Eve Langlias did it again. Aramus is an alpha cyborg grump who doesn't like humans. Logan McAllister at times sounded very mechanical but that seemed to work since it was when he was narrating cyborgs. Riley is definitely relatable and i just had to laugh at the way she interacted with Aramus. opposites attracting with this story. Definitely want more of all of the characters - just made me laugh the whole time. Lighthearted and fun - one I'll listen to again.
