Historia
It was supposed to be the weekend of their lives - an exclusive house party on Henry Island. Best friends Meg and Minnie are looking forward to two days of boys, booze, and fun-filled luxury. But what starts out as fun turns twisted after the discovery of a DVD with a sinister message: Vengeance is mine. And things only get worse from there. When a mysterious killer begins picking them off one by one, there's no escape. As the deaths become more violent and the teens turn on one another, can Meg find the killer before more people die?

I enjoyed it
Revisado: 01-17-25
I was pleasantly surprised as to how much I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I felt like the book was well written, and the plot was well sorted and engaging. The character progression was also written very well.
This was the first book that I have been introduced to from this author and because of it, I will look into her other works.
I recommend this book.

I hate you, Fuller James. I hate your floppy hair and your lopsided grin and those laughing blue eyes that always seem to be laughing at me. I hate that you're the most popular guy in school and I'm still the girl who sneezed and spit out her retainer on someone at a middle school dance. It's just such a cliché. I hate that I'm being forced to tutor you in English and keep it a secret from everyone. Because otherwise it might put our basketball team's chances at winning State in jeopardy, and even though I hate you, I love basketball.

Keep your political views out of YA books
Revisado: 02-21-24
Would NOT recommend! *** I feel like this author used her book to throw in her political views wherever she could to influence young adult readers and that is ridiculous! Stop trying to influence youth with your narrative and just write a good story. I won’t be listening or reading anything else by this author again. Plus, the book is just kinda blah, basic, or just plain not interesting. It was extremely predictable. A bummer all around.

Revisado: 01-17-24
What did I just listen to?? Idk the point of this book and I feel horrible for saying it but idk why it was even written and created into an audiobook. It’s not worth listening to because there is no plot and the ending is random and inconclusive.

This Psych 312 assignment just might send me off the deep end. Determining whether love at first sight really exists with Robbie Moravian as my project partner of all people? He’s the sappiest man alive, so upbeat I could scream, and clearly rooting for happy endings at every turn. How does he not learn from experience considering our own meet-cute last semester almost got us expelled? But we both need to pass this course to graduate. So we’re interviewing five random couples about their meet-cutes and relationships and spending all this time together. Which is certainly...educational.

I loved this more than expected!
Revisado: 06-02-23
I am thoroughly surprised as to how much I actually loved this book because I wasn’t expecting much from it. That expectation was only from me being a junkie of very dark romance BUT this was the perfect amount of sweet!!! I love the little twist ending and I truly love how the author made an excellent point about how important it is for love to grow and change along with people because we do just that! We are always evolving and growing for the better so our love must absolutely do the same.
I also listened to her Love Line series, without realizing it was the same author, which I adored as well!
I highlighted recommend her books!

Paint your toes. Pick up the wrong coffee and bagel order. Drive from Brooklyn to Jersey in traffic so slow you want to tear your hair out. It’s amazing all the useless things I can accomplish while on hold for three hours with customer service. Three hours when I should be getting the Date-in-a-Box website ready to launch at the big business expo in a few days. Except my shiny new website is glitching, and my inner rage-monster is ready to scorch some earth...when he finally picks up. Not the robot voice I expected but a real live human named Kal.

What. In. The. World.
Revisado: 08-15-22
This is probably one of the best literary works I’ve read/listened to. I know that shouldn’t be taken lightly, so let me try to explain.
The author builds great suspense. I don’t normally read suspense novels, so maybe that docks me a bit. However, the mental state or mindset she puts the FMC and Verity in, is truly compelling and disturbing and provocative and savage and so many other good things! *insert evil giggle*
I’m sure you’ve heard about the ending… and again, I will concede with everyone, it is utterly haunting. It will haunt you for days and keep you pondering and theorizing.
Read it. You will not regret it.

Soon-to-be college freshman Evie Claremont had hoped that once she'd arrived on Crestwood's campus, the nightmare that she'd been having would go away. It hasn't. She may be an inexperienced 17-year-old, but she's grounded... sane. She looks for rational explanations to even the strangest circumstances. Since meeting sophomore Reed Wellington, however, nothing makes any sense. Whenever he's near, she feels an attraction to him - a magnetic kind of force pulling her toward him.

Amazing!
Revisado: 06-04-22
I absolutely love this book. It’s fun and flirty and oh so dark and gory. It is fun and light but also heavy and tragic. Amy Bartol is nothing short of genius with this series. I love the triangle because it really portrays how someones love can be split for two people. The fight between the fallen and the divine is so interesting and engaging, I can’t wait for more in the next one.

Much better than the first book. I was so confused why this series was so unbelievable popular and was genuinely disappointed but this 2nd book redeemed it.
I mean it’s not spectacular but it is good and better than the 1st.

Idk how to feel
Revisado: 03-31-22
I loved it. I was put off by it. It was intense. It was too much. It went too far. It was so freaking amazing. It was so HOT. 🥵 it was uncomfortable. It was enticing. It was awkward. It was sad. It was heartwarming. It was heartbreaking. It was a soothing balm to the soul.
I wanted one of them. I wanted both. Then I wanted all three. And idk how to feel about that. I thought that was weird. It felt wrong. It felt right.
It was perfect.
In its own way.
The ending was just the way we all needed it to be.

Even better than I remember!
Revisado: 03-24-22
I absolutely love this series so I decided to give it a listen after several years from reading the book, and I am thoroughly pleased! I absolutely love Death and this book is my favorite. His loneliness is depicted so well that my heart literally hurts for him. I would stay with him forever! *swoon*
The narrator does a good job. She has a lot of emotion in her voice, however I would love for Evie to have more of an accent because she is southern. However, she does a decent job with Aric’s accent, not great not bad, decent.
Although, I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!
