Historia
That's the question that has haunted 14-year-old Ezekiel Blast all his life. But he's not a thief, he just has a talent for finding things. Not a superpower - a micropower. Because what good is finding lost bicycles and hair scrunchies, especially when you return them to their owners and everyone thinks you must have stolen them in the first place? If only there were some way to use Ezekiel's micropower for good, to turn a curse into a blessing. His friend Beth thinks there must be, and so does a police detective investigating the disappearance of a little girl.

Could have been amazing
Revisado: 03-06-23
This is the coolest idea. What a great idea. A kid who finds lost things then has to find a lost girl. I love murder mysteries and find the kid before they die kinda books.
This is not that. This is over thinking, over explaining, exhausting, tedious, and slow.
Every character has the same personality. The girl did something crazy and everyone wanted to take care of her after. (I would have run from her so fast) the dialog is absolutely exhausting. The ending was flat.
The only reason I stayed is because of the intriguing idea and I had to see where he took it.
What an exhausting book.

Good old Marissa Meyer
Revisado: 01-03-23
I’ve gone back-and-forth on her books. I love the lunar chronicles and this is also really good. She gets so “woke” though it’s distracting and annoying. But amazing books.

Demonic
Revisado: 08-28-22
If you like dark stories then you would like this.
I do like dark fantasy but this is just plain demonic. I felt so gross.

Historia
Iris Hollow and her two older sisters are unquestionably strange. Ever since they disappeared on a suburban street in Scotland as children only to return a month a later with no memory of what happened to them, odd, eerie occurrences seem to follow in their wake. And they're changing. First, their dark hair turned white. Then, their blue eyes slowly turned black. They have insatiable appetites yet never gain weight. People find them disturbingly intoxicating, unbearably beautiful, and inexplicably dangerous.

Full marks but weird
Revisado: 08-08-22
I gave this full mark even though I found it totally disturbing. The reason it has full marks is because I cannot deny that it is completely ingrossing. The narrator is absolutely fabulous and I could listen to a read the phonebook. It is a super Gothic and dark and weird book.
I wanna read it again.

My absolute favorite
Revisado: 07-22-22
I read the first girl child and absolutely loved it. Every single character was amazing. When this book came out I thought to myself, there could never be a book that says good as the first one. I was wrong, it is actually better. I am in love with the character Hod.
This book has absolutely everything you could ever imagine and want. Please read this book.

Narrator is the only good thing
Revisado: 05-23-22
I read the reviews, How it falls flat, is boring, but I love Elizabeth. I buy all her books for her voice. Her voice is stunning and comforting.
The story however is everything everyone said. I felt like it was a book that was written like it’s setting you up for something for 11 hours and it never comes.
It is a good idea, that had beautiful writing but just executed badly.

I have more questions
Revisado: 03-04-22
That had to have been the most boring and anticlimactic book ever.
Narrator was fabulous and it’s the reason I hung on.
I want to know where Wild came from.
How did this get political?
The end was blah.
Anything I was interested in I got no answers about.

I am so torn
Revisado: 02-15-22
This was the coolest idea. I just absolutely loved the story about the two sisters and everything they were and what they went through.
Laura’s story fell flat and I was bored when it was her turn. I longed for just the sisters and the circus and the paintings.
Overall I would recommend this to my friends but I felt like this could have been a completely different book if written just about the sisters.

What just happened?!
Revisado: 01-25-22
First off I want to say I could listen to Elizabeth read the phone book. She could read the stupidest book and make it brilliant.
Second I think this book should be titled: ways to ruin yours and your child’s life. I’ve decided all kids should always be held accountable for what they do, no matter what. Thanks for the parenting tip.
This book is a wild ride and I loved it all and I had to stop at parts because I was overwhelmed. Then return when I had the strength.
If you’re into crazy books about crazy people doing crazy things you’ll love this.

He’s not so bad!
Revisado: 09-04-21
Ok I was expecting an awful performance but it wasn’t that bad. Culkin was decent. I would listen to another one, I wouldn’t go out do my way like Jim Dale.
The story was way too much. Transgenders, police brutality, race ugh. Let’s get away and let our kids enjoy a story without worrying about all of that. Disappointed where all his stories are going.
