He was an unmedicated schizophrenic she used to hurt her ex-husband. She expected him to act normally. Without his medication, he was incapable of that. There are resources she could have used to understand his experience and help him better, but she couldn't be bothered, and then she characterized him as a monster. She was not being groomed. He was sincerely ill and she couldn't be bothered to help. She is reprehensible. It should be noted that, while it may not be the case with him, most schizophrenics are more dangerous to themselves than they are to other people.
