Historia
Brian Wheat is far from your typical rock star. As bassist for the multi-platinum band, Tesla, he's enjoyed the spoils of success and lived the sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll lifestyle to the hilt. But it came at a cost, one that took years to repair. In this deeply honest and utterly revealing memoir, Wheat sheds light on the many challenges he faces, including bulimia, weight issues, and the crippling anxiety and depression caused by his conditions.

Disjointed and unlistenable…
Revisado: 08-08-24
This has to be one of the worst audiobooks I’ve ever listened to. Not sure how this made it through editing. Brian should have hired someone to narrate it because he did an awful job. Also, the writing is disjointed and all over the place he keeps jumping from topic to topic with no transition and/or organization of thought… I’m a huge Tesla fan but wouldn’t recommend this book to anyone. My hope is someone else from the band does an organized history of a great band, this wasn’t it…

Historia
With over 70 million records sold, Black Sabbath, dubbed by Rolling Stone “the Beatles of heavy metal,” helped create the genre itself, with their distinctive heavy riffs, tuned down guitars, and apocalyptic lyrics. Bassist and primary lyricist Geezer Butler played a gigantic part in the band’s renown, from suggesting the band name to using his fascination with horror, religion, and the occult to compose the lyrics and build the foundation of heavy metal as we know it. In Into the Void, Butler tells his side of the story.
