Historia
In Grief is Love, author Marisa Renee Lee reveals that healing does not mean moving on after losing a loved one—healing means learning to acknowledge and create space for your grief. It is about learning to love the one you lost with the same depth, passion, joy, and commitment you did when they were alive, perhaps even more. She guides you through the pain of grief—whether you’ve lost the person recently or long ago—and shows you what it looks like to honor your loss on your unique terms, and debunks the idea of a grief stages or timelines.

Limited help
Revisado: 10-19-23
More of a poor memoir. Social issues included were offensive. I learned that I must “go through emotions of grief”. Also that will always love be with grief pain and have to learn to live with the pain. Wanted to return the book. But I listened to entire ugh book.

Adolescent gross descriptions
Revisado: 09-20-21
Too many detailed gross adolescent descriptions. Hurt my ears. Descriptions would be better on something other than bodily fluids. Distasteful and I did not find funny.

About Sisters not friends
Revisado: 04-11-21
I expected a book about friendship beyond family. Some of the readers speak in what I hear as a haughty tone. Some very good points. Does not address women from a less privileged background.

Credits

Way to many credits - geez! More for you than the listener.
Book was good. Took awhile to get into the Trump story. Would have liked to hear more on experiences with Trump snd less about potato chips and Diet Coke mistakes.
I expected more insight into White House behind the scenes.
What I observe is you ate a talented, capable, favored woman and I like that about you. Go get them Governor Sanders!

Revenge
Revisado: 01-12-21
I was excited to listen to this book which promised insight into the making of President Trump. I could not get past the clear anger and revengeful attitude of Trumps niece - author Mary. Typically a psychologist would never diagnose a family member as that could be considered unethical - yet she does - no testing to prove her conclusions. Her angry and disappointed attitude seem to lack personal insight into her behavior being similar to the behavior she disdains in her grandfather and uncle. The book is one of bullying and contention. Like or not like President Trump - this talented author and audible presenter is lacking in judgment and presenting herself as the knower of others motivations - without checking those motivations out. Shame on you Mary. I do not think your own father would have been pleased with this negative narrative of your family. Run for office if you think you can do a better job. I’m sorry, not an accurate account in my opinion.

Revisado: 10-07-20
Fauci does not thrust his political views. He states he is a scientist. I would have liked to hear more about Fauci and less about how idiotic author believes Trump to be. Ruined a great opportunity in story telling by trying to sway listeners. Grief!

Historia
The answer to why people feel and act the way they do lies in the profound effect of a child's bonding process with his or her parents. How successfully we form and maintain relationships throughout life is related to those early issues of "attachment". The author has cited four primary bonding styles that explain why people love, feel, and act the way they do. This book is for anyone who desires closeness, especially in the most intimate relationships: marriage, parenting, close friends, and ultimately God.

The narrator was horrible and difficult to endure. Halting and elementary speech. The book was fascinating. I wish the narrator would just talk conversationally. Instead his performance was an F. Ruined it.

i would have liked to hear the author’s voice. The narrator sounded like she was reading a children’s good night book. I found it distractingly times. This story is not Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf
