The main thing I can say, without leaving spoilers, is that the end does help explain and consistencies that you read about in the beginning.
The characters are all pretty interesting.
I enjoyed the world. look forward to more world building.
I would read further books.

If you like Scouts and/or Fantasy this is Great

this is another coming of age Hero story.
the back drop was surprisingly fun.
three world building was just enough.
enjoyed the reactions of the various characters. I will definitely read the second and third in the series. I encouraged my daughter who is a scout and she seems also intrigued. it is good to know when both the subject and the audience enjoy the story.

the stories and world building were pretty true to the source material.
the action was a little over the top but mostly easy to follow. as frequently happens, I became even more interested in a couple of the side characters and would like to hear stories about them.

please note there were some major editing snafus especially in the last few chapters. so if there was an editing quality I would have to write that low. and I am honestly surprised how obvious it was. but did not take away from the story itself.

excellent story for the world of Shadowrun

great character development. excellent examples for both story and Gain purposes. came across as very true to the world. really enjoyed both the good guys and the bad guys and the not so good good guys. this is a story I would not only recommend but listen to again.

I've enjoyed learning about the world. the characters are fun. it does play into several hero tropes, but for a quick and easy read That's not bad.
the voice acting is superb. a truly enjoyable experience

Perfect example of the Shadowrun world

this story was masterfully put together.

the characters were great archetypes of thier world.

story kept my interest the entire time and was true to the world building.

one criticism: "...You never fail to disappoint..." would indicate they ALWAYS disappoint, however the context would indicate they meant the opposite.

love the voice actor. Hope she can do more with SR and maybe expand her characters a bit.

excellent finish to a great beginning.
this series has ups and downs and I appreciate a good story where the good guys win, but there are sacrifice.
good message and amazing world to play in!
