Kel Kade is incredible. Nick Podehl brings it to life. Wish I could listen to the series all over again, for the first time.

Historia
Dragons Riders: The last noble warriors in the realm. Only heroes can embolden the ordinary. For centuries, millennia, the Dragon Riders galvanized generation after generation, adding Riders to their ranks and birthing dragons from their eggs. But there are no more heroes. War with the Andarens is like nothing the Riders, nor the armies of Erador, have ever faced. In the place of heroes, there are only soldiers now. Fodder for the machine of war. This time of twilight is set to be the crowning hour of the dark when the light is losing its grip.

Revisado: 01-26-24
Great pacing and excellent action! Narrator is top notch not just with male voices he does female voices accurately. He makes you thing there is literally different actors playing out the book. All the books are good but this one was great. I sympathize with all the characters but this one brings it home.

Equipped with skills far beyond those of the outworlders, Rezkin has been suddenly thrust into a foreign world. The young warrior clings to his only known purpose as he continues his search for any information about his identity and the reason for his existence. While the hardened warrior scorns both dueling and tournaments, he believes some of the answers he seeks may be found at the King's Tournament, the greatest dueling championship in all of the kingdoms.

Great story a little slow but last few chapters were amazing. Nick does a phenomenal job of distinguishing each character with their own voices and personalities.

Historia
Legend. Myth. Nightfall has long been rumored to be nothing more than whispers on the breeze. If only it were so. In those halls of darkness, where children are taken from the world and given to shadow and dust, Asher is destined for that same fate. He will become the myth. He will become the legend. He will become the whisper of Death itself.

Amazing…
Revisado: 05-25-23
Great book and full of twists and turns. A great redemption story and full of pain and remorse from the main character. After listening to the first three books from the echoes. I had to go back and revisit Asher, as he was my favorite character, and this book did him justice. For many people I’m sure they seen him as the best and most dangerous assassin and were wondering why he would forgo his training and use of his magic. But I understand it full well it’s because he felt intense guilt and needed a rebirth and redemption. The pain was a baptism of fire and was his way of starting his atonement. The author did an impeccable job at coming full circle and creating what is easily one of my favorite characters.

Historia
Mankind has lorded over the land of Illian for a thousand years, building on the ruins left by the elves, as if it were their birthright. A thousand years is a long time for an immortal race to see the truth of things, a truth that has remained unsaid for a millennium - elves are superior. They are faster, stronger, and connected to the magical realm in a way that man could never grasp. Illian should belong to them.

Im buying the next book now. Eager to continue this story. Very well written and characters are well flushed out. Highly recommend for any fantasy fans. Only complaint is the Narrator could’ve done more individual voices for the characters some conversations felt like it was the same person talking to themselves. But easily looked over when the action and story are so gripping. The fights and battles were described very well and got my adrenaline going a few times. 5 stars

Historia
Vex and Vax have always been outsiders. A harsh childhood in the elite elven city of Syngorn quickly taught them not to rely on others. Now, freed from the expectations of their exacting father and the scornful eyes of Syngorn’s elves, the cunning hunter and the conning thief have made their own way in the world of Exandria. The twins have traveled far and experienced great hardship. But with the help of Vex’s quick wit and Vax’s quicker dagger, they’ve always kept ahead of trouble. Now, unknown perils await them in the bustling city of Westruun.

One of the best titles I’ve listened to all year. Possibly the best Narration I’ve heard along with in sync voice acting, that was incredible. Hoping for a sequel possibly even a series through other Critical role characters maybe even Vox Machina. But would definitely like to hear more of this type of work. If I could give more stars I would!
