Reader was awful , story interesting

The reader did not pronounce many words incorrectly thru out the reading . His dramatic emphasis was lacking .
Did anyone else from Audible listen to this presentation ?
It seemed like English might be his second language .
The reader obviously lacked command of the language .

What made the experience of listening to Great White Doctor the most enjoyable?
The set up is very believable . The path to success in the medical field is all about money .. It is a business . The patient is the victim.
Would you recommend Great White Doctor to your friends? Why or why not?
Yes .. it is a portent of the future if we do not mend our approach to health care in this country.
What didn’t you like about Kirk Ziegler’s performance?
Obviously, Mr Ziegler is not a native New Yorker , he did not pronounce most of the colloquial Jewish words incorrectly . He often mispronounced other words as well . Did anyone from Audible listen to this book ?I found his performance took away from the story.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The whole story makes me think twice about suggested procedures and are they really necessary for health .. especially womens' health .I know the book is fiction , however the premise seemed very plausible .
Any additional comments?
Since I am a New Yorker , I would be glad to reread with the proper accent .
