I very much enjoyed listening to the book.

The book took me aback at first by the approach on how it is presented. It's not the usual read from the author, as we hear in so many books, but sounds more like a TED talk. I wasn't sure if it could keep me interested.
After few minutes the author totally takes you in by the story, the way she presents, the jokes you hear and you absolutely live through her experiences, laughing with jokes and getting many interesting insights on things. I actually noticed myself nodding in some parts of her approaches to the audience.
I'm not sure if the suggested attitude to shame can apply to all situations, but the material does give a lot of new insights on how we can become whole-hearted as she calls it.

What did you love best about Crucial Conversations?
The book has lot of useful tips on how to preserve yourself In difficult situations. of course just listening to the book once may not do. I will need to listen to it again to refresh and repeat practicing the tips given in the book... And there are many.
What does Joseph Grenny bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I think reading the book would be good too to keep notes of new things you'd learn.

This book is what every manager needs.

For those who are new to management, this is a great book to read and learn. To others it is still a great book as a reminder of what is important for happy working environment. The book touches all aspects of managerial daily life, from you, to staff, to culture, to managing up, etc.
I am grateful that I came across this book and highly recommend.

I lost track of points to take away from the material. I felt like I was waiting for examples to finish but they weren't.
