not enough Kobold he was only in the last 3 hours or so honestly this whole book could have wrapped up in 2-3 hours, its skipable, just know there is female dwarf wizard now and they made it to the city and that's all you need to know, you can skip this book and go straight to the 3rd

good story a bit wordy

good story and world building the author spends too much time describing things and goes into unnecessary details at time and just tries to make too many things emotional, sometimes a fight can just be a fight you know. but dont get me wrong the story ia still good but the main character needs to just act his age, its like is he a child or not, pick one, going back and forth just ruins some moments

i would have liked a bit more development on both characters hang ups and difficulties on their situation. A bit more character building and a bit more echi scene's as the ones we got felt, lacking. Felt like they could have done more with this premise. The story felt like it could have used another book or simply a longer book to fully flush it out but it was entertaining.

An ok 1st book but book 2 is a downgrade

book 1 is nice, its a good enough listen though the authors spends too much time describing things but book 2 is a downgrade of this, book 2 does have more echi scenes and they are barely enough to save book 2, hopefully book 3 fixes it or this should really only be a one time listen

Middling story lines

so the audio performance were nice, credit to the VA because without them, i would have dropped this. the main reason for the protags job/reason for being there is ended in book 1 apperantly (we couldn't tell by the way book 1 ended) and too many slice of life moments. very, very little story progression, and they do nothing with the fact that they are catgirls. at this point, they are just quirky human girls with cat features. the echi scenes were nice, but that's about it, harem doesnt expand at all. All in all, i felt like this was a disappointing read when compared to book 1. i hope these points get fixed in the next book, or i am dropping this series.

ok narration but bad ending

so the narrators performance was ok. the voices were barely different which made it difficult to know who was talking at times. the ending was bad in my opinion. SPOILER, main character basically got used thoughout the story and then was back to being a normal person with no way to continue being a villan. even for a one-off the ending was bad in this sense, the world was good and the story has a good premise but the ending really killed this story for me.

A fun listen but i wish protag had a sex drive

the protagonist is entertaining and the companions add a lot of fun elements to the mix, only downside seems the protagonist lacks a sex drive, so there are no ecchi scenes, a bit of a let down but its fine
