Where does Cat's Claw rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

For its type, the book is interesting and humorous. It is not to be taken seriously, but read as a fun diversion. Some of the allusions to Ancient Greek and Roman mythology require a cursory knowledge of the classics, although one could enjoy the book without this background. Amber Benson's main character Calliope Reaper Jones, daughter of death, is captivating.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Cat's Claw?

Callie's trip to hell through a worm hole and her conversation with Cerberus, keeper of the gate to hell, is amusing!

What about Amber Benson’s performance did you like?

Amber brings just the right inflection and pace to her novel. The language and metaphors are very appropriate for a twenty something young person, and Amber makes the most of them in her dramatic reading.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Too long for one reading. I read (listened) to it over several mornings during my commute to work.

Any additional comments?

Fun and entertaining, Cats Claw is worth your time!
