City boy Toby Merrow needs a change of scenery, and two weeks at a dude ranch seems the perfect solution, even though it’s a far cry from the scenes of San Francisco. Not much chance of finding anything like that out in the wilds of Montana. But who knows? If he’s really lucky, one of the other guests will show up on Scruff—or even better, Recon. That’s if Toby has energy for anything else after spending his days riding out and herding cattle….

Amazing age-gap romance, wonderfully narrated!!
Revisado: 12-23-22
Amazing age-gap romance with some beautifully written hurt/comfort and slow-burn teasing. Loved the heartfelt, captivating writing. There’s such a heartwarming vibe throughout the story, just what I needed. And best of all … it’s Collars & cuffs with cowboys! Yessss!! I loved the power dynamic between Robert and Toby, and how honest and caring they were with each other. They build such trust as they grow closer physically and emotionally. BDSM is a part of who they are, and I loved how that was written, respectful, nuanced … and hot too, of course. It’s the easiest thing to believe in them as a couple and root for them. The way they fall in love is subtly written and absolutely enchanting, dreamy even. There is a truly wonderful cast of secondary characters at the ranch. Robert’s crew looks out for him, each in their own way, and they are a great bunch! I can’t wait to see what the author has in store for them. So excited this is going to be a series!!
Narration: John Solo's outstanding performance makes listening to this story a wonderful experience. The emotion and nuance in his acting is incredible and the different voices he brings to the great set of characters are spot on.

Well-written, sweet age gap romance!
Revisado: 12-07-22
This story embodies what I love most about the daddy-kink trope. I love how close Gareth and Kit are and the care they have for each other. Gareth is so gentle and sweet with Kit; it’s seductive and moving all at once. There’s a slight age gap and an element of the ‘forbidden’ to their relationship, but it only helps make the love and connection they have seem even sweeter and more heartfelt. There’s trauma and suspense, but the focus is on the relationship. The characters are very well-written and I loved how thoughtfully and honestly they communicated with each other.
Narration: John Solo 's performance is amazing. He's a great narrator. I love the nuance and emotion he brings to his narration and how he brings to life all of the characters. It really enhances the story.

Heartwarming friends-to-lovers story!
Revisado: 09-19-22
Levi has loved Noah since they came into each other’s lives as teenagers, but he hasn’t ever dared to risk their friendship by being honest with his friend about his feelings. He hasn’t made any kind of move, but finally things start to happen and he decides to try and get his man. The way he goes about this is incredibly sweet and original as his attempts to grow closer are not based on seduction but on making an effort to learn more about something that is very important to Noah. Levi unexpectedly finds himself passionate about the same topic, and their friendship deepens further. Win-win all around.
I adored all the moments with Grammy. She sure is a character! I loved her and Levi, but also her connection with Noah and all of their other friends. I liked that we got to know her better, especially the story about the brother she lost, and how that impacted what happens in the present.
There’s a sudden plot twist that brings both heartache and joy into Levi’s life, but luckily he has Noah to turn to. Loved it but will never be a fan of a certain person’s choices.
And of course, we also get funny and endearing glimpses into the lives of all the other amazing couples that came before in this series. Levi and Noah’s story concludes the series, and I love that we get to see how everyone is faring in their HEA.
Narration: outstanding performance by John Solo, as always!! I love the nuance and emotion he brings to his narration. Listening to the characters come alive is such an enjoyable experience!

Historia
Aaron is happy for his friends who’ve found love, but he’s starting to feel as if he’s an endangered species–a single guy. Not that he’s looking for anyone. But if someone were to turn up, he figures they would be female, younger than his 27 years, and as disinterested as he was in searching for a soul mate. He’s about to get it wrong on most counts. Working in the Acadia National Park, he meets all kinds of people, like that painter he met the other day. A quiet guy, but he certainly made an impression. Because for some reason, Aaron can’t get him out of his mind.

Sweet bisexual awakening romance!!
Revisado: 06-16-22
Really enjoyed the nuanced, thoughtful writing and the way the MCs grew throughout the story. Aaron and Dean are both wonderfully threedimensional characters, and they feel very genuine and authentic.
Dean and Aaron become friends first, lovers later, which really fits them. Seeing them start to fall for each other, even when it wasn’t part of the plan, was lovely. There’s a tiny bit of angst as they struggle with the self-imposed parameters of their relationship and yearn for more while being in doubt as to where the other stands. Loved that! I also really liked how Dean’s painting was woven into the story and how it reflected his personal journey.
The outward similarities between Lyle, Dean’s ex, and Aaron are understandably cause for concern for Dean, and I loved him for not judging Aaron based on Lyle’s behavior and for trusting Aaron and judging him on his own merits.
The secondary characters, most of them the MCs from the previous books in the series, were of course wonderful and very well-rounded. They are a big part of why all the books in this series feel so heartwarming and cozy. The new secondary characters, Dean’s entourage, were great as well, although I’d have loved to have a bit of a word with Ash and Jon at some point—well-meaning busybodies! Grammy is feisty and loving; she really stands out. Love her! I am also left in dire need of Levi’s story. Need it. Want it. Now. Please and thank you.
John Solo's narration was wonderful as always! He's such a gifted performer. I truly enjoyed listening to his interpretation of the characters and story. He made Aaron and Dean sound so real! I loved the emotion, vulnerability and authenticity he brought to both of the MCs' voices. He also did a great job keeping true to all the secondary characters, just amazing!

Thrilling forced proximity romance!!
Revisado: 04-09-22
Dark, steamy, and with a true connection between the MC’s. Loved it!!
Jaguar was an enigma in the previous book, Scum, and I’ve been so curious to find out more about him. He didn’t disappoint! Rather he completely blew me away with his pure soul and how brave he is, both in a physical and an emotional sense. His view on how life and relationships ought to work were sometimes a bit skewed, to put it mildly, but he means so well and is so oddly endearing. I loved him for Dane. I liked how resourceful Dane was when put in a scary, dangerous position. He held his own with Jag, standing up to him when necessary but also willing to find a middle ground and learn to live in his lover’s, erstwhile kidnapper’s, world, quite off the beaten track. This is anything but a sugary sweet read, but there are still heartwarming moments with both the MC’s families, which made me melt completely.
The emotions in this dark romance were intense as always with K.A. Merikan; passions run high and danger awaits, but love conquers all. Even for these two characters who come from such incredibly different worlds with clashing views on life.
The worldbuilding, gritty and realistic, and the well-rounded, intriguing secondary characters made this into a brilliant story and left me craving the next book in this series, and the next.
Narration: Wyatt Baker's performance was outstanding. The raw emotion he brings and the way he seems to really get the characters made this audiobook into a gripping, wonderful listening experience.

Thrilling new story in the Ravenwood Coven series!
Revisado: 02-22-22
Very enjoyable friends-to-lovers romance, high on emotion and suspenseful plot twists. I really liked discovering more about the Christopher curse and the worldbuilding in this new series. Laurel is a strong heroine, bravely facing what seems like certain heartbreak and an excruciating death. Jaxton is an amazing hero. I love how patient and caring he is, and how he values Laurel, happy to be the wind beneath her wings. I loved Laure land Jaxton together. They seem so inevitable but at the same time quite impossible. I loved seeing how it all worked out in the end, even though they were several heart-stopping bumps on the road. The secondary characters are complex and intriguing, both the good guys and the bad. Can’t wait to see what will happen next!
Narration: Sublime! Aiden Snow and Victoria Mei have an excellent grasp of their characters. I loved the emotion they brought to their performance. Took the story to a new level.

I yearn to be submissive, both in and out of the bedroom. There's nothing I crave more than being under the control of another man. Handing over power would fulfill a need I feel down to the marrow of my bones. What I don't know is how to get it. This kind of relationship requires complete trust - something I don't give to anyone except my only friend. Then along comes Dr. Aidan Kingsley. For the third time in my life, he helps me, without even knowing it, and someone like that, I can't help but believe in. This is the man I'm meant to be on my knees for. Aidan is meant to be my Sir.

Amazing age gap romance, steamy and sweet both!
Revisado: 11-01-21
I liked that the relationship builds up slowly, especially in view of Finley’s age and the vulnerable situation he finds himself in at the start of the story, both emotionally and otherwise. The obstacles they have to face feel real, not just gimmicks to amp up a reader’s emotions, and when they stumble, it hurts, but serves a purpose. The MC’s are flawed and beautifully complex, loving and inspiring. The emphasis on trust, mutual respect and communication throughout the story is a crucial part of Finley and Aidan’s relationship.
Finley is such an endearing character, so vulnerable and honest, so very pure. I loved how the author wrote him, his kindness and his strength, unconventional, but not any the less real. Aidan comes across as very confident and put-together, but he has known grievous loss too, same as Finley, and is very protective of his fragile heart, fighting his feelings for Finley something fierce.
This is a beautifully crafted love story, and also an incredibly hot one. I really liked that the author explored some more unusual kinks too, straying away from easier, more popular choices, and I loved how the intimate scenes always tied in wonderfully with the storyline, deepening the connection between Finley and Aidan.
I was quite blown away by this story and hope to see more in the Desires Unleashed Collection soon.
Narration: Michael Dean is one of my favorite narrators. He did an absolutely brilliant job with his performance of this story.

Wonderful redemption romance! Love Max so much!
Revisado: 11-01-21
I love a good redemption romance and seeing Max, a former antagonist, in this new light was amazing. He is so unexpectedly vulnerable and so deserving of love and care. To have JP, of all people, be the one to bring that to him and understand who Max truly is, at his core, was just such a thrill! There are so many sparks and heartfelt emotions between these two. It's not easy for them to get to their HEA, as they do have a little bit of Shakespearean vibes going on to further complicate their enemies-to-lovers romance.
Narration: Curtis Michael's performance was brilliant. I really enjoyed listening to his take on the MCs and secondary characters.
