Historia
In 1997, David Deida released what would become one of the most widely read books on men’s spirituality ever published—The Way of the Superior Man. In this unabridged audiobook of the 20th-anniversary edition, Deida presents a new preface to the now-classic text on how to live a life of masculine freedom, integrity, and authenticity.

Even after over a decade of loving monogamy this book taught me something at every turn. Humbling, illuminating, powerful.

Historia
In a scrap heap within an abandoned factory, the greatest invention in history lies dormant and unused. By what fatal error of judgment has its value gone unrecognized, its brilliant inventor punished rather than rewarded for his efforts? In defense of those greatest of human qualities that have made civilization possible, one man sets out to show what would happen to the world if all the heroes of innovation and industry went on strike.

One of the most important books I've ever read
Revisado: 12-19-20
This novel is much, much more than the political hack job it is often accused to be by the left. In showing the best of capitalism and the worst of collectivism, it tells a side of the story that is often ignored in literary circles, usually dominated by leftist thought.
The depth of the psychology is stunning.
The writing is superb.

The more men read this, the better our future
Revisado: 10-25-20
In a fast changing world dominated by liberal ideas, and a great deal of man hating, it is fantastic to be reminded of what a gentleman really is and had been.
The writing is excellent and narration perfect for the content.

Historia
In 2012, on his third tour of duty in Afghanistan, an improvised explosive device left Dan Crenshaw's right eye destroyed and his left blinded. Only through the careful hand of his surgeons, and what doctors called a miracle, did Crenshaw's left eye recover partial vision. And yet, he persevered, completing two more deployments. Why? There are certain stories we tell ourselves about the hardships we face—we can become paralyzed by adversity or we can adapt and overcome. We can be fragile or we can find our fortitude. Crenshaw delivers a set of lessons to help you do just that.

The antidote to our current predicament
Revisado: 10-01-20
I'm a liberal. When the media this year told me that it was safe to protest for BLM but not safe to protest against the lockdown, I almost threw up. I decided it was time to see what the conservatives had to say, since the liberals seemed to be making less sense with every passing hour.
Much to my surprise, conservatives like Crenshaw, as well as some #walkaway liberals, are talking far more sense. I learned that while the left trying to repeal civil rights acts and fight for children's rights to have irreversible elective surgery to change their gender, the moderates and conservatives are for the most part having substantive, valuable conversations on policy and political philosophy.
This book is a phenomenal example of this. I enjoyed it from cover to cover.

Historia
Black Americans have long been shackled to the Democrats. Seeing no viable alternative, they have watched liberal politicians take the Black vote for granted without pledging anything in return. In Blackout, Owens argues that this automatic allegiance is both illogical and unearned. She contends that the Democrat Party has a long history of racism and exposes the ideals that hinder the Black community’s ability to rise above poverty, live independent and successful lives, and be an active part of the American dream.

This liberal LOVED this book
Revisado: 09-28-20
I once convinced myself that Candace Owens was a shill. Based on next to nothing if course. As it turns out, Ms. Owens is fearless, ingenious, and authentic.
This year was the year I stepped out of my liberal bubble and realized that I value people with courage and who think for themselves far more than I value those who simply agree with and validate my world view.
Owens book fundamentally challenged many of my assumptions. I don't agree with everything she says, but I'm so grateful for her courage to say it.
I'll buy every book she writes and be glad to have her keep me on my liberal toes.

For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare--poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. The only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force tactical air controller, he went on to set records in numerous endurance events.

Historia
In 1957, four years before his death, Carl Gustav Jung, psychiatrist and psychologist, began writing his life story. But what started as an exercise in autobiography soon morphed into an altogether more profound undertaking. The result is an absorbing piece of self-analysis: a frank statement of faith, philosophy, and principles from one of the great explorers of the human mind.

Incredible. Humanity needs to rediscover Jung
Revisado: 09-23-18
This is one of the most impactful, important things I've ever read. Never has an author been more of a kindred spirit with me, and never have I finished a book feeling so much more whole than when I started it.
Jung is the antidote to reductionist rationalism that humanity so desperately needs. Jungs ability to see how subtlety and wisdom in myth and the unconscious is unparalleled.
I often read books I wish I could make friends or family read. Never as much as this book. This is a masterpiece and work of a genius. Thank you Carl Jung.

These authors believe it is vital for us to pose these questions and others even more disturbing. Absolutely incredible. A guidebook for opening the mind to unlimited possibility while keeping ones feet planted on the ground.
I've been reading books on similar subject matter for 2 decades and this is one of the most complete, brilliant works Ive ever found. I want everyone I know to read it.
Also the narration is fantastic. I'd give this 7 stars out of 5 if I could.

Historia
Winter is coming. Such is the stern motto of House Stark, the northernmost of the fiefdoms that owe allegiance to King Robert Baratheon in far-off King's Landing. There Eddard Stark of Winterfell rules in Robert's name. Far to the north, behind the towering Wall, lie savage Wildings and worse - unnatural things relegated to myth during the centuries-long summer, but proving all too real and all too deadly in the turning of the season. Yet a more immediate threat lurks to the south, where Jon Arryn, the Hand of the King, has died under mysterious circumstances....
