Feels more of side story

I enjoyed the series and listen to each book four times already but this book always felt a slog to get through. The first half is fine but the island and Fresia starts to become a bit of a flake. The reason I read it is because I need context for the the other books.

Sometimes you need a Anti-Villian to do the job.

The best way to describe him is Tony Stark with half the Asshole mix with Punishers Morales. Yes, he is playboy Multimillionaire but he is not held back by false morality. He knows that some of these Villians are far worse than many serial killers and need to be put down permanently. Now watch him grow and adapt gradually not giving God mode like most characters like him.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Chronothon to be better than the print version?

Never read the book but I loved the audio the Narrator brought life to the book so he made a very enjoyable.

What other book might you compare The Chronothon to and why?

A mixture of Dr. Who and Terry Parchet there is a mixture of humor and suspense.

What about Neil Hellegers’s performance did you like?

They way put everything in it. The perfect way he brought different voices and tones it was like he was enjoying tell the tale as he read to me always aces in my opinion.

Any additional comments?

It always nice to have a villain that is not just evil for evil sake. When they a have a somewhat ration point and you can see there it from their point of view.

How could the performance have been better?

Add more voices to the character when I confuse the main character with two secondary but important characters it gets bad. The Narrator is way too monotone for my taste need to hear some enthusiasm.

Awesome story needs more variety

What made the experience of listening to All That Glitters the most enjoyable?

The man had several accents down but he needs to vary his tone between the main a secondary characters because they sound the same a lot. Decent but needs more variety of tones and voices to get five stars from me.

What did you like best about this story?

The tale of 'May you live interesting times' was done very well and showed a good divergence of chosen one syndrome. The main character is not chosen because of some Grand destiny or fate but because he was brave enough o go further than those that came before him.

Very in the enter fantasy game genre

I A realistic look at a nerd that comes to a fantasy world because he is far from perfect and doesn't know everything to be broken. He is learning he stopped over power from the beginning so I think it's a good entry to the genre hoping the next book is just as entertaining. Plus was the first time that we have someone of color as the main character
