Abraham Lincoln is the central axis of this story about America's seemingly unstoppable march toward war, the shattering of its political landscape, and its grappling with the moral underpinnings of a republic of the people, by the people, and for the people.

Economic Facts and Fallacies is designed for people who want to understand economic issues without getting bogged down in economic jargon, graphs, or political rhetoric. Writing in a lively manner that does not require any prior knowledge of economics, Thomas Sowell exposes some of the most popular fallacies about economic issues, including many that are widely disseminated in the media and by politicians.

The validity of "SCIENTIFIC STUDIES" & conclusions
Revisado: 11-17-22
The perspective the author has is extremely insightful and everyone should grasp the understanding that is presented here. I hear and see things misquoted, misunderstood, and deliberately used deceptively to sway the masses; it has been used in such a criminal way and so extensively that unless a person looks at the actual study for how it was done and what the real meaning of the results are, and that taking into the fact that many people lie about their results to begin with and change the data, but barring even that from the analysis, to obtain correct information that is credible relies on an amount of intelligence and perception that is wisdom.
I apologize for such a long statement but the entire book is massively important to help create proper perceptions of this current and present world.
Love the book will listen to it over and over as I can.

Historia
These wide-ranging essays - on many individual political, economic, cultural, and legal issues - have as a recurring, underlying theme the decline of the values and institutions that have sustained and advanced American society for more than two centuries. This decline has been more than erosion. It has, in many cases, been a deliberate dismantling of American values and institutions by people convinced that their superior wisdom and virtue must override both the traditions of the country and the will of the people.

Good concepts & understanding
Revisado: 10-24-22
Briefly, well. worth the "read"! I believe with the additional evidence that has come forth on a few issues discussed or briefed upon in this book, the author may have a slightly different perspective, although for the majority I agree with his evidence and arguments.
I encourage people that have a few brain cells left to read or listen to this book. I only wish that some of the points that were touched upon and not indulged in may have been elaborated on. and as a say there are a few things that I have questioned with but for the most part excellent book.

Excellent! Great advice. I always thought$ was too complicated and the strategies discussed were too difficult to understand. And, personally, I've come to realize all the great opportunities I passed up in my lifetime! I hadn't realized how important stress free life could have been. But, this is quite clear, and although not easy, once a plan is established for an outcome of choice, I think most people could follow this advice and be successful. thx.

Historia
In The China Study, T. Colin Campbell revolutionized the way we think about our food with the evidence that a whole food, plant-based diet is the healthiest way to eat. Now, in Whole, he explains the science behind that evidence, the ways our current scientific paradigm ignores the fascinating complexity of the human body, and why, if we have such overwhelming evidence that everything we think we know about nutrition is wrong, our eating habits haven’t changed.

I wish I'd have known this 60 years ago!
Revisado: 08-12-22
T Colin Campbell is an extremely intelligent person who is absolutely correct in not only his understanding of wholistic nutrition and the benefits to the body mind and Spirit of any human being, but he also completely understands and points out many of the culprits in our society who are depriving people of proper knowledge, scientific studies that are done credibly versus incredibly, and the undermining of the entire health system for profit, notoriety, and fear!
I learned about plant-based nutrition, (which is not vegan or vegetarian) but a totally wholistic approach to eating around 2012. that was 10 years ago. my first research into this was with common movies, documentaries, books and literature that is out there by Caldwell Esselstein, his son Rip and his daughter Jane, and many recipes are out there by all of them including his wife Mary. T Colin Campbell has studies that people have been certified through that I didn't even realize about until this book. I typically don't have much trouble eating plant-based when I have to eat out although I prefer cooking and knowing what's going in my food including what kind of water is being used! While we're living in an age of total toxicity from Air to groundwater and continual toxins being poured into them, we need to be aware more than ever before and do everything we can to retain our health and teach others as well as and especially, the children.
It grieves me to a point of tears to see people giving their children dairy products, meat, fish, oils, sugars, refined and processed foods, canned foods, and so much more that is giving them something that is not only detrimental to their health but will likely cause a lifelong addiction unless they learn what their parents should know by now and should have stopped them from doing to begin with.
thank you Mr Campbell for your years of service and continued learning and searching for truth which you have explained in extravagant detail to us. Where are other men like you; strong in your convictions based on scientific knowledge and truth; not politically correct paradigms and lies!
As I said everyone should listen to this book and review it perhaps annually as a refresher.

Everyone should listen to this periodically
Revisado: 08-01-22
This hits the mark squarely on the head. I would strongly suggest EVERY school teach these cycles and the people in charge stop obfuscating history. It's obvious that the oligarchy teach these cycles to their children, but it's been largely Biden from us until now. THANK YOU for making this available! I did find a chart online that helps visually see the patterns. Special thanks to Richard Wiles of TruNews for talking about this book for years now. I got through it in 1 weekend with audiobook. I will be revisiting it and continue sharing it for as long as I can.
