Loved the story and the emotions and the f!ow of the story. The narration was excellent, two of my favorites. Those two could make the dictionary sound good.

Loved the book

Loved the book but the narrator's sucked! They ruined the whole thing for me. Had to read my hard copy to get into the story. I'm praying they aren't reading thee next book because they were so DRY and EMOTIONLESS.😢 . I would have rather listen to the dictionary being read.

I loved this story! It brought out so many emotions. I felt for the characters, and all they went through. It made me want a happy ending. I love when a story captures my heart and this one did just that. I recommended it wholeheartedly. The narration was great as well. I love Zackery Webber's voice when he read's. Angela Goethals's narration was compelling as well. Colleen Hoover has fast become one of my favorite author's. I've read and listened to as many of her book as I could get a hold of. Even the one's meant for teen's. They are so well written everyone should read them. Fantastic books😊😄😅😇😉

Would you consider the audio edition of Captive in the Dark to be better than the print version?
Honestly i Love both, but listening bought more of my imagination to life. i was focused on the characters and their interactions, the raise and fall of the narrators voices. i could feel what the characters were going through. great narration.
What other book might you compare Captive in the Dark to and why?
I'd compare it to Twist Me by Anna Zaries. another dark romance.

no i don't think so. but she did a great job.

When I got this book I wasn't aware that was a young adult novel. But I really enjoyed it. The relationship between Sky and Holder is intense even for teenagers. I think I'll read more books from this author. The narration is well done. The story held my attention, something I wasn't expecting.

I love Joys Ryan's books. They have character's that make u care about them and there dilemma's the plot was intriguing. I downloaded all I could find. And they keep me listening. The listen till I have to go to sleep, and then start in the morning while eating breakfast and while I clean the house. The narrators does well bringing the character's to life. I !love fact that audible has so many of my favorite author's. My fire in jammed packed.

I finished this !is ten in a day. After waiting so long I couldn't stop. I know there has to be another book coming the wait will be on again. The narration's were done well and f!owed great. I will continue to listen as always. Audible has become one of my favorites over the years. Well worth my membership.😊😅
