Fantastic storyline

This book and the one before it are very well written. This is a fantastic storyline and unique perspective. I really felt like I was there with him and feeling what he was feeling. The performance was also excellent. I was so disappointed that there weren't more books already done in this series. I would read/listen to any book written by this author.

Great story terrible narration

I have listened to almost 400 audible books and I've never noticed constant spit swallowing from the narrator before. It sounds disgusting and it's very distracting.

The story is a good one though. It's definitely different from other Lauraine Snelling books, which I enjoyed.

Boring with a terrible ending

This book drags on so slowly. I kept thinking it had to get better, but nope, never did, and one of the worst endings I've ever seen in a book ever! Don't waste your time, trust me.

An amazing journey through victorian intrigue

A most stupendous story !!!! I thoroughly enjoyed the book and the performance. I highly recommend if you enjoy mysteries and intrigue, not just sappy love stories, which I do not enjoy myself.

This author seems like a real man hater

In this book almost every man she encountered was a rapist, wife beater, killer, gangster, molester or a over all scum bag. She should really seek some professional help. This is not reality.

Another phenomenal book!!!

Ben Coes is by far the best fiction writer out there. He has a masterful style that keeps you on the edge of your seat and hoping it never ends. I am an avid reader and listen to audible books everyday, after listening to his books every other book is a disappointment.
He writes action books in a way where you are constantly engaged never bored or blown away by overwhelming tedious details so many of these types of books include. I hope he never stops writing.
The performance is also excellent!

WOW the best book I've read or listened to in year

Non stop action, incredible characters, really well written. I am an avid reader and when I can't read I'm listening to books. This is a great book that I had to force myself to put down, it's that good. The narration is also very good so that you really feel immersed into the scenes. if you are an action junkie like I am this is the best action book in a long time. I really hope this is a very long series because I can't get enough.

This is a phenomenal book with an excellent performance by the narrator. I listen to a lot of books and this is a non-stop edge of your seat winner!!!
