Historia
One of the pioneers in energy healing and shamanism recounts 12 miraculous stories in which, through the use of shamanic energetic techniques, people experience extraordinary physical and emotional healings. Each of these stories is rooted in Villoldo's experience as a healer, mental health professional, and devotee of Indigenous wisdom and lore from around the world. Ultimately, Villoldo demonstrates how a shaman assists us in discovering our own capacity for self-healing.

Loved this book & Peter Frampton!
Revisado: 11-09-21
Peter Frampton was at the height of his career when I was a teen & I loved him so I had to listen to his book! It thoroughly enjoyed the book, even more so since he narrated it . He has a beautiful voice so it’s easy to listen to, and I especially loved the impersonations that he interjected when talking about one of the Beatles or his manager Dee! It is very sad that he has a debilitating disease which is affecting his ability to play guitar. My only regret is that I never saw him play in person because he is truly one of the greatest guitar players ever…….

Historia
In The China Study, T. Colin Campbell revolutionized the way we think about our food with the evidence that a whole food, plant-based diet is the healthiest way to eat. Now, in Whole, he explains the science behind that evidence, the ways our current scientific paradigm ignores the fascinating complexity of the human body, and why, if we have such overwhelming evidence that everything we think we know about nutrition is wrong, our eating habits haven’t changed.

Very Informative and enlightening!
Revisado: 08-27-21
I think that everyone needs to listen to or read this book, along with the Chiba Study.
After reading the China Study I was convinced that A WFPB diet was for me. I was already a vegetarian for 20 years, but cheese was the most difficult food for me to give up. Then my older sister was diagnosed with breast cancer & that was enough for me. I immediately gave up dairy and never looked back. Then I took Dr Campbell’s course through eCornell in 2012 and became certified in the WFPB diet. Thankfully, my younger sister also decided to shift from vegetarian to WFPB, although we have not been able to convince my older sister to go completely WFPB. I am still working on that….
This book is a must read for everyone. I think that I enjoyed it even more due to Dr. Campbell’s narration, which lends a tone of heartfelt enthusiasm and sincerity to the content. Thank you Dr. Campbell for changing my life for the better, along with everyone else who chooses to shift to a WFPB diet!

Very informative and inspirational
Revisado: 03-10-21
As someone who knew absolutely nothing about the vagus nerve, or anatomy in general, I found this book to be very informative and easy to understand. I am looking forward to trying the exercises in this book to help improve my breathing capacity and to address issues with chronic neck pain, and I referred it to a friend who suffers with depression. I especially
enjoyed listening to this book while working out as the narrator’s voice is very pleasant and soothing.

Historia
Congressman Ken Buck (R-CO) is blowing the whistle on the real-life House of Cards going on behind the scenes in our nation's capital. Elected in 2014 as president of one of the largest Republican freshman classes ever to enter Congress, Buck quickly realized why nothing gets done in Congress, and it isn't because of political gridlock - in fact, Republicans and Democrats work together all too well to fleece taxpayers and plunge America deeper into debt.

This book was very informative and eye opening as to the extent of the corruption of our government and wastefulness of our tax dollars. I liked that it was written by someone on the inside with first hand accounts of his own experiences is what made the book even more significant....

Let Love Rule is a work of deep reflection. Lenny Kravitz looks back at his life with candor, self-scrutiny, and humor. Let Love Rule covers a vast canvas stretching from Manhattan’s Upper East Side, Brooklyn’s Bedford-Stuyvesant, Los Angeles’ Baldwin Hills, Beverly Hills, and finally to France, England, and Germany. It’s the story of a wildly creative kid who, despite tough struggles at school and extreme tension at home, finds salvation in music. We see him grow as a musician and ultimately a master songwriter, producer, and performer.

Best audiobook of all!!
Revisado: 10-22-20
Listening to Lenny Kravitz’s life journey through his own words was phenomenal. I have always loved his music, but after hearing about his life experiences, the impact of his family’s love, and his musical journey, I truly get him as a person and an artist. Now I have an even deeper love for his music because I get the meaning behind his words and understand the musical influences that shaped him into the incredible artist that he is!
