Love box sets

I wish you could get every series in a box set!! Cute story and good character building. Story lines were simple but keep you interested. The very last book was the hardest to follow as there was so much to tie up.

Just gonna list my dislikes:
1. The main character is completely unlikeable. 2. The support characters are more interesting than the “hero”.
3. The hero complains about everything and everyone. Ex: his roommate goes on a date and he gets jealous.
4. Don’t get me started on the way the author portrays women in the book. I’m not easily offended, but the authors constant need to portray women in every demeaning way possible, seriously got old.
5. The humor the author was trying to convey didn’t hit right. I love snark and dirty humor but this was like listening to some teenage boys talk.
6. This is only the second book out of hundreds of fantasy I have listened to that I did not finish and the only one I have left a review on!

Good retelling of classics

The stories were interesting and I liked how they tied together. The last book seemed a little rushed when compared to the first two but it wasn’t terrible. My only critique would be the narrator. She doesn’t have enough voice variation between characters and it is often hard to keep up with who is talking.

This is a good boxed set to listen to. It has good story/ character development. This is not a story for kids to listen to as it has bad language and some crude humor.

Purchased as a set and was a long listen. The story line is good and all the characters are likable. William Dufris did a wonderful job narrating, each character’s voice was unique and made the story easy to follow.

I really enjoyed this series. This last book wrapped up the story nicely. It had a few twists at the end that I didn’t see coming so it kept my attention unlike some other story ends that feel like a prolonged, and uncomfortable goodbye!
