We were given a beginning and end, and some of us endured a climax like a roller coaster that shook and jerked us around, testing us in the process. In my story, I thought I knew what to expect. That was until a hot-shot hockey player with sweet words and an even kinder soul changed my course. It took everything in me not to fall for him, but unwanted emotions were developing, and warmth I swore I'd never expose myself to began to wreak havoc on my already failing heart.

She always hits me in the feels! I've always liked an age gap romance, and this one was great. I love the time taken to develop trust between the MC's and the family angles. I wasn't overly fond of the narrators, but they got a bit better throughout the book. An all-around solid production.

What a roller coaster... I think I felt every possible human emotion during this journey. Sweet, sexy, frustrating, infuriating, heartbreaking. I love that Ms. Hawkins finished the story with a beautiful ending. Side note: I've never felt so sorry for a single character in all my life, but even sweet Corbin got his own happy ending eventually. 🩷

Great story overall. Not a very satisfying ending.

This was a good story. The sexy scenes were pretty great and I enjoyed seeing Alexander and Christian edge out the girlfriend as they got closer. Good character development, but the ending wasn't very satisfying for me. All that angst for Alexander and when he finally decided to go after what he really wanted, he told Christian that he wanted him and boom... it was over. We never really even got to see them make love as a couple.
I'm not sure who handles your audiobook productions, but there are several glitches in the first book and this one. Nothing ruins an audiobook faster than poor quality. This narrator was fine, but there are better ones out there. Jacob Morgan, Teddy Hamilton, Joe Arden, Aiden Snow... consider better guys next time. Die hards like myself will buy an audiobook based solely on a favorite narrator. All the best to you and your future books!

Ella and Brooke write some great books together. I've loved each series so far. The first PAP (Infamous) book was fabulous. I love Perry and Aiden as individual narrators, but I think Perry is the better choice for this series. Aiden's deep voice just isn't a great fit. And I'd really love to hear a duet. I miss Charlie David and Christian Fox. Where are those guys?

Slow and sweet love. Jacob Morgan is one of my favorite narrators and he didn't disappoint here. It took a long time and a lot of heartache to get them where they needed to be... but it was soooooo worth it!!
