Amazing, fun murder mystery

Great murder mystery. Lots of different suspects for the reader to speculate about, and an ending that satisfies the various plot threads. Lots of fun antics to entertain while the mystery plays out. TJ does out outstanding job narrating. Lots of dialogue and it is always clear who is speaking with voice changes that work great. Definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a fun book.

Calling all urban fantasy fans!

I'm always excited for a new urban fantasy series, and this one didn't disappoint! From the diverse cast of characters to the new magical laws and systems to the fun (if slightly predictable) mystery afoot, this book is sure to satisfy any fans of THE DRESDEN FILES or TALLOW JONES. I'm loving this new wave of mystery/adventure novels with complex male leads that don't use sexism as a character crutch. Great characters all around, and it was fun to hear the masterful TJ Clark doing a whole new set of diverse accents. Seriously, is there any voice he can't do? Give this guy an Audie or something! Listening to this book in audio form definitely brought the whole thing up to another level.
