Historia
Why would most people endure unwanted or unsatisfying touch, rather than speak up for their own boundaries and desires? It’s a question with a myriad of answers–and one that Dr. Betty Martin has explored in her 40 plus years as a hands-on practitioner.

Gem in my library
Revisado: 04-04-23
I wish I lived in the world where everyone has read this book and put at least some of it into practice. So much good has happened to me as the result of
integrating The Wheel of Consent in my everyday life. It can be especially transformational if used with other people who are also familiar with the practice.
Yes, it is practice, like learning how to drive. There are a few theoretical concepts but the experience and skill is what matters after all. Narration by
Madelon Guinazzo is as captivating as the content itself. Madelon's clear and warm enunciation along with the steady pace of her voice make nice "Chicken
Soup for the Ears," if I may say so. As a legally blind person I have read hundreds of audiobooks. This book is a gem in my library which, I believe, will still be
quoted in twenty, thirty years from now. I am so enthusiastic about this groundbreaking book!!! I cannot recommend it enough. OMG, they also added
bonus tracks! There is more exciting content in the audio book compared to other formats. That is unusually thoughtful. Thank you so much for doing that!
