This gave a very interesting view on feminism
Revisado: 07-13-24
I liked the history behind the story. The conversation was easy to listen to. It was interesting to hear a different side on feminism and the fight against abuse.

There was too much repetition and I didn't like the main carachter
Revisado: 02-25-24
The performance was great. It engaged me with the story.
The storyline was interesting, but due to the repetition I skipped to the end.

Historia
When Ava Harrison receives a letter containing an unusual job listing one month after the sudden death of her ex-boyfriend, she thinks she’s being haunted. The listing—a job as a live-in caretaker for a peculiar old man and his cranky cat in Driftwood, Alabama—is the perfect chance to start a new life. A normal life. Ava has always been too fearful to even travel, so no one’s more surprised than she is when she throws caution to the wind and drives to the distant beachside town.

The beach vibe was very nice
Revisado: 01-14-24
The story was fine, a bit slow.
But the ending was very rushed and unfinished. I think I understand the ending but that opens up A LOT of questions. The ending is not clear or not finished at all.
Heather Webber her books: South of the Buttonwood tree and Midnight at the Blackbird cafe where much better. The storyline had a better pace, well build up and closed ending.

Finally a good full book
Revisado: 01-06-24
I have been looking for a book with a story and realistic sex scenes. I love it. The story makes sense, is well build and written.
The narration is also very good.

Historia
Rare-book dealer Ashlyn Greer’s affinity for books extends beyond the intoxicating scent of old paper, ink, and leather. She can feel the echoes of the books’ previous owners—an emotional fingerprint only she can read. When Ashlyn discovers a pair of beautifully bound volumes that appear to have never been published, her gift quickly becomes an obsession. Not only is each inscribed with a startling incrimination, but the authors, Hemi and Belle, tell conflicting sides of a tragic romance.

Emme Wynn has wanted nothing more her whole life than to feel like part of a family. Having grown up on the run with her con artist mother, she’s been shuffled from town to town, drawn into bad situations, and has learned some unsavory habits that she’s tried hard to overcome. A lovely warm story
Revisado: 10-03-23
The scene was very well set again by Heather Webber and there was en nice twist.
The end felt a little rushed at the end though. The Blackbird Cafe by Heather felt more finished.
Throughout the reading the voice would often go more silent. So here and there I missed some sentences and had to go back.

This Psych 312 assignment just might send me off the deep end. Determining whether love at first sight really exists with Robbie Moravian as my project partner of all people? He’s the sappiest man alive, so upbeat I could scream, and clearly rooting for happy endings at every turn. How does he not learn from experience considering our own meet-cute last semester almost got us expelled? But we both need to pass this course to graduate. So we’re interviewing five random couples about their meet-cutes and relationships and spending all this time together. Which is certainly...educational.

Historia
After Tova Sullivan’s husband died, she began working the night shift at the Sowell Bay Aquarium, mopping floors and tidying up. Keeping busy has always helped her cope, which she’s been doing since her eighteen-year-old son, Erik, mysteriously vanished on a boat in Puget Sound over thirty years ago. Tova becomes acquainted with curmudgeonly Marcellus, a giant Pacific octopus living at the aquarium. Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine but wouldn’t dream of lifting one of his eight arms for his human captors—until he forms a remarkable friendship with Tova.
