Historia
Decades before the American Revolution, Benjamin Franklin lamented that English settlers were constantly fleeing over to the Indians - but Indians almost never did the same. Tribal society has been exerting an almost gravitational pull on Westerners for hundreds of years, and the reason lies deep in our evolutionary past as a communal species. The most recent example of that attraction is combat veterans who come home to find themselves missing the incredibly intimate bonds of platoon life.

This is what the west needs to understand!
Revisado: 02-06-21
Loved this book. Ppl think we r right and we know wrong. But dont seem to grasp humanity as a whole. Always did n still think y religion is so important.
The author has so amazingly n beautifully explained how as humans we should interact with US. A must read. Cleared up alot of my confusions about the western society.

I am a huge fan of Malcolm Gladwel. After outliers this data analysis have shook me. I loved the parts where the author trumps other big authors with Data facts while still respecting their work. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Never thought i would look at Apple this way. Has brought out the humility in myself. Delayed ending the Audio book cause i didnt want it to finish. It will be hard on the next book to meet the standard.
Loved every minute of it. Was really hard to let go of Jobs in the end. Will pray for his soul.

The author of important books such as Animal Liberation and Practical Ethics, he helped launch the animal rights and effective altruism movements and contributed to the development of bioethics. Now, in Ethics in the Real World, Singer shows that he is also a master at dissecting important current events in a few hundred words.

It opens up another part of your Moral self!
Revisado: 02-03-19
I considered myself a moral man, but this Audio book brought out something new in myself. Nothing is gray anymore. Black and White! What i might choose in life is a different story, but i cannot fool myself anymore. It is a great book for even the religious people, who might i add, have the Quran or Bible etc, for guidance, and feel thats all they need for guidance. YOU CAN FIND guidance everywhere, and this is a great part of it.
On a lighter note I started thinking about ethics after watching "A GOOD PLACE" NETFLIX......... i know it sounds corny but this is the lighter note ;-)
Thanks.
