So Whimsically Perfect!
Revisado: 10-12-23
Narrator: This is honestly such a big part of why this story is so enjoyable. This narrator is soothing and is able to make unique voices for many of the characters which adds so much to the story.
The Story: These are the complete stories from volume one of the four book set. They are filled with history, science, fantasy, and Biblical references all woven together in an overall very non-offensive whimsical story that warms the heart and makes you smile. This book has become my go to for when things are stressful and I just need to relax and rest. An absolute gem.

Historia
For years, rumors of the "Marsh Girl" have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. Sensitive and intelligent, she has survived for years alone in the marsh that she calls home, finding friends in the gulls and lessons in the sand.

Beautifully written....

...however, it may be difficult in spots for those who have been abused or assaulted. Or in places where the details of hardships may have gone beyond the threshold of those with tenaciously tender souls. As a whole the writer weaves time, place, and emotions in a way that seamlessly guides the reader as the story delves into the intricate layers of nature and life.
