Very well written. Great characterizations. We find ourselves asking questions about how we would deal with unexpected issues and their relationship to our spiritual journey! Very well read in the Audible version.led my wife and I to ask ourselves, “How would I react to an unthinkable tragedy? What would it do about my faith in the love and Justice of God. Read it!

I/we are fans of Rosenberg. I think we have listened to every book he has written. We look forward to the next novel. He is a brilliant guy. His novels are almost prophetic. Very fast moving. Short chapters that have “cow-catchers “ to make you want to keep reading. And we enter into the world he creates, not so much as a character than as a bystander who may be empathetically trying to influence the action. And these are high actions books.

It is no wonder he is sought out by those in very high places in Jewish, Muslim and Christian communities and governments. You will often ask yourself, “How did he, could he know?”

Goodwin makes a very believable case for what could happen in the near future. My wife and I are in our 90s yet read Christian novels almost daily. I am too scared to read a follow up to this book. I confess that it disturbed our sleep.

Maybe tomorrow we will pull out some cash to have on hand, just in case. We don’t have that much but as Christ followers we are assured of our final home with Him!

The narration was superb! My mother played on the lawn of Hollyrood Palace. Her parents flat on Princes Street. During WW1, she worked in a boot factory making boots for the army. Sadly, the women nurses were issued the same boots as men until the owner asked Isabella Cameron (later to be Isabel and fondly called Belle by all who were close) to put her hand at designing a woman’s boot. It was adopted by the army nurses. For that Mom was honored and given a miniature copy which we had until she fell, broke her hip and spent the rest of her years in a nursing home in Dover, DE. Mom’s father was a baker by trade and the Duke ‘o Blair Uthiel had him travel on hunts to supply all their bakery goods. I recall Hogmanay and first footing. My Dad was treasurer of Clan Cameron 222 in Montclair NJ for 33 years. They also made him treasurer of the Scottish Games of NJ for several years. My brother, Don and I counted the entry fees in a cottage in Port Monmouth, NJ. Many fond memories!

Very good information read usually very well and with good tonal quality. Sometimes a bit too fast for the depth and seriousness of his subject matter. We intend to return to the book to try to understand the method for helping our button pusher. As former speech professors we liked his accent, his warmth and his professionalism.
