Incredible book for a lot of reasons. I’m in sales and do quite a bit on social media, and this book has given me great tools to engage my audience, not only online but even just of how to better build rapport and portray confidence when in person. The author practiced what he preached as he read, the book was informative and very engaging and memorable.

Vulnerable and honest

Very well written and well read book. It’s entertaining, honest, and real. Full of great insights to help others that are struggling with mental, emotional, and health related problems. Especially a great resource for those with Lyme (obviously) but the mindset applies for so many things.

The most motivating book I’ve ever listened to.

I’ve listened to tons of personal development type books. So many so, that I began to find them a waste of time. They all spit out the same stuff, delivered by some professional narrator that has no where near the same energy and passion as the entrepreneur that the book talks about. I love that GC read it himself. That energy and passion I get from him makes me realize I haven’t wanted success bad enough in the past. I haven’t been nearly obsessed enough, and hearing GCs story is super inspiring. Great book. He gives it straight and walks the walk himself. Thanks for the good book Grant.

Brought me to tears of pride and gratitude

This book is amazing. Such a great story of heroism, grit, determination, and belonging. The narrator is perhaps the best I've heard, with the perfect cadence and tone while reading to fully draw the listener in. The ending is especially great, the way he ties in the greatness of "the greatest generation" as they are known, those unassuming rowers and hundreds of thousands of boys just like them coming into Germany to hunt Hitler down and save the world. Everyone should listen to this book.

Excellent book. Excellent principles

Every person should listen to this book frequently. So much information packed in here. No fluff really. Interesting and engaging stories, applicable application to business. I even learned a lot that I can apply to parenting my children. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is in any form, a leader, teacher, parent, or any form of influence or who wishes to be. Even the "lowest man on the totem pole" should apply these principles, as by doing so, he or she would not remain "low" for long.
