Historia
'You like it darker? Fine, so do I', writes Stephen King in the afterword to this magnificent new collection of twelve stories that delve into the darker part of life - both metaphorical and literal. King has, for half a century, been a master of the form, and these stories, about fate, mortality, luck, and the folds in reality where anything can happen, are as rich and riveting as his novels, both weighty in theme and a huge pleasure to listen to.

Amazing listen- brought the 80s club scene to life.

I wanted to listen to this as I was a huge Spandau fan in the 80s, but Martin Kemp’s book is not just for Spandau fans. The book is well written, humorous and super interesting. Martin lays out and explains the crazy music connections between characters in the groundbreaking Blitz scene of Soho, London in the 80s. It was this fertile ground that gave rise to many of the best bands, and great music of the decade. I loved this book and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in 80s music, or who lived through the decade - ahh the memories!. For Spandau fans it’s a must read - True it’s Gold!!
