An incredible ending to a wonderful story
Revisado: 02-08-25
I remember waiting for this final book to be published. Though narrator’s voice differs greatly from the voices I created in my head for the characters, the story draws you in for a compelling adventure full of danger, daring, and hope.

Historia
In this “vital, necessary, and beautiful book” (Michael Eric Dyson), antiracist educator Robin DiAngelo deftly illuminates the phenomenon of white fragility and “allows us to understand racism as a practice not restricted to 'bad people'" (Claudia Rankine). Referring to the defensive moves white people make when challenged racially, white fragility is characterized by emotions such as anger, fear, and guilt and by behaviors including argumentation and silence. These behaviors, in turn, function to reinstate white racial equilibrium and prevent meaningful cross-racial dialogue.

Anyone wanting to gain a better understanding of how to navigate making personal, societal, and systemic changes can start here. A humble approach to this content is needed as we all, yes, ALL, have work to do listening, learning, sharing, and doing when it comes to racism and white supremacy as they now stand.
