Often the decision between a customer choosing you over someone like you is your ability to know exactly what to say, when to say it, and how to make it count. Phil M. Jones has trained more than two million people across five continents and over 50 countries in the lost art of spoken communication. In Exactly What to Say, he delivers the tactics you need to get more of what you want.

Interesting Approach; Message Lacks "Umph"
Revisado: 07-06-18
While I find the overall ideas presented here easily attainable by most adult readers/listeners of this book, I must say that I'm relieved it was packaged very much in an abridged format. I feel that Mr. Jones has found a way to help the reader address many people's communicative problems with a list of "words and short phrases" to be implemented into one's human interactions. Mr. Jones suggests that by utilizing the words/phrases from this list when dealing with others, certain reactions are inherently elicited from the other party helping to move the outcome in the most positive direction.
However, in my opinion, the possible benefits of incorporating this into one's own life is completely lost on the reader who similar to me, without a doubt, will be hard pressed to find any real motivation by listening to Mr. Jones' narration of his own words. The tone in which he speaks becomes monotonous and lacking the required "umph" that I'm sure one needs to move his/herself toward creating positive outcomes and to best address their daily interactions with those around them. :-(

Interesting & Good Advice, HOWEVER....
Revisado: 07-05-18
Very basic info, but good advice for anyone starting from complete scratch on how to deal with others. EXTREMELY boringly read!! It sounds like "JC Anonymous" (the credited name of the narrator) is a very monotone male computer voice which doesn't have the rhythm of normal American English speakers (or any other English speakers) nor was it trained on parts of a sentence (runs words into next sentence causing the need to pay close attention to understand the intended meaning of the author).

Nicely Organized Timeline Creating Clarity
Revisado: 04-16-18
I enjoyed Peter Ganim narrating the well written reporting penned by David Corn and Michael Isikoff. This "follow-the-facts" documenting really sheds much clarity on the overall cloud surrounding this subject. By presenting a well researched timeline of what is known, Corn and Isikoff demonstrate their true investigative skills and abilities to pull it all together in a format that makes the chaos of the subject easy to grasp.
