An interesting assortment of fantasy stories that were all enjoyable to read. It does contain some adult language and scenes so it is not for children.

Jack and Diane, really? Time Lords? Time Bomb? Enjoyable listening. I liked it. Interesting premise and good humor as always with Dennis.

It was a long trilogy. The last book made it worth listening to as most of the pieces fell into place.

I love Epic Fantasy series and writers like Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson, JRR Tolkien, Michael Sullivan and the like. Now I have found Melissa McPhail and Brent Weeks because reviewers compare their books to one another. The Black Prism starts a 5 book journey, although I only thought there was 4 when I started, now finding out that I will have to wait to see how it ends next year. It is a book that describes a world much like our own, only hidden with magic and less technology, like most good Science fiction or fantasy. There is good and evil, areas of gray, greed, power, sex, religion, slavery, war and magic. There are many surprises throughout this adventure as to who fits into which category, but all have their own inner conflicts. There are times when people seem slightly oversimplified, but sometimes that is just cover. There are times when I burst out laughing and times of sorrow. The narrator does a good job acting all of the voices and that is key in audio books, as the narrator can make or break a book. I highly recommend this book and series and look forward to more.

Great biblical teaching but a lot of repetition. It would appear we are coming into a very interesting time of another Shemitah, blood moon, black sun and a year of biblical Jubilee.
