Historia
Alicia Berenson’s life is seemingly perfect. A famous painter married to an in-demand fashion photographer, she lives in a grand house with big windows overlooking a park in one of London’s most desirable areas. One evening, her husband, Gabriel, returns home late from a fashion shoot, and Alicia shoots him five times in the face and then never speaks another word. Alicia’s refusal to talk, or give any kind of explanation, turns a domestic tragedy into something far grander, a mystery that captures the public imagination and casts Alicia into notoriety.

I listen to this on a whim & it hooked me right away. I had to finish it in 1 day. Great storyline with a delightful twist. The music & readings/acting was nice as well. My 13 son caught some it & agreed with my thoughts.

Historia
Welcome to the summer of 1985 in Philadelphia, when the city was rocked—in almost every sense of the word—by two unprecedented events: Mayor W. Wilson Goode’s May 13 decision to bomb the headquarters of MOVE, a controversial Philadelphia-based radical communal organization, and the July 13 Live Aid concert, where international rock royalty convened in Philly to raise money for victims of the Ethiopian famine. Separated by just two months and eight miles, these events would showcase both the best and the worst of the so-called City of Brotherly Love.

1st autobiography
Revisado: 12-03-20
I have to honetly say this was my 1st autobiography & I was pleasantly surprised. It was very interesting and thought provoking to hear about Mrs. Obama's expeioences becoming. Her background all the way to her 2 terms in the white house. From her roles & her very own perspective. As a daughter, mother, aunt, sister, wife & friend. She is not just black she is human and just like so many other pioneers she paved the way in the most dignified way. I commend her for always going high. Its not easy as she always make it look. Amazing book & book telling skills. Loved it & highly recommend it.
