Catherine Wiltcher I flaming loved this book 😍. I want book 3 now… here’s hoping there is not too long of a wait for it to be released on audible! I’ve really appreciated your HEA for now at the end if both books 1 & 2 and you not leaving me with a big cliff hanger.

Mafia romance is not my usual thing but I am totally hooked on Dante & Eve’s story. I can’t wait for the rest of this trilogy to be released on audible 😍.

Catherine Wiltcher is a new to me author that has really impressed me. Here’s hoping more of her catalogue will be released onto audio.

Great quick listen, low in angst and over the top drama. I have not listened to the two previous books in this series but that did not take away from my experience.

Jason Clarke and Erin Malon did an awesome job narrating.

Great Series

I have just finished listening to all 3 books in this series and have to admit I was taken by surprise...I absolutely loved them! Ginger Scott you're one very talented writer, I could not put these books down which surprised me as they did not contain the level of steam I usually seek out. I will admit I did speed up the narration a few times in the second book because my heart was breaking but I just could not stop listening. I really enjoyed this couples journey from high school to their early 40's and appreciated how much time I got to spend with them. Both narrators were new to me and they were perfection. I will definitely be checking out more of Ms Scott's work.

Hollywood Bodyguard

Both the author and narrator are new to me. Zachary Zaba had a great voice and I was impressed with his female vocals.

I don’t know what it is about audiobooks written in third person but I find it really difficult to connect with the story on the level I do with audios written in first person.

I love the celebrity troupe and this book definitely fits that bill.

I Can't Stoping Thinking About Jill

This author is new to me and I was not sure what to expect. The rockstar troupe is one of my favourites so I gave it a try. There were many things I did not really enjoy about this book but it has definitely left me in a very reflective mood and a want to know more about Jill's story, she's definitely been on my mind.

This was not the type of love story I'm used to reading... there were no sex scenes, I did not experience goose bumps or a swooning feeling in my belly, it was really quite PG... and yet I had to keep listening. The story is told almost entirely from Jill's point of view which may explain why I did not 'feel' the connection between her and James but I understood there was one. Now that its over I feel like this book could be the first in a series containing lots of vital background and setting the scene information.

My experience of Gina Rogers narration was just ok, at times I found it a little robotic and forced. I thought Gina did a great job with the male voices.

I appreciated the diary entries, they gave great insight into the brave face Jill plasters on, she's definitely a complex women. I also loved the music references at the beginning of each chapter.

This was a really different experience. I was definitely transported into Jill's world which reflects on the great writing skills of Gail Olmsted. The book hangover I'm experiencing has taken me by surprise given that during the book I was not 'feeling' much. Hopefully Jill's story will continue because I'd like to know more and I'm definitely thinking about and feeling for her right now.
