Horrid Narrator, Doesn't Improve, Drags Down Story

The narration on these books is so bad I had to return it, I purchased the first 3 books in a collection and I waded through the first story hoping the narration would get better in book 2, it did not. Megan Kelly really needs to listen to the masters, like Angele Masters and Tavia Gilbert, she is only one tiny step better than being read to by Siri. I had to speed the play up to 1.15 speed just to tolerate it. The story itself isn't bad, however I will say I expected a lot more about the main characters "abilities" to show up in the first book.

Wonderful Vision of Lydia Bennett-Wickham

A delightful story that will have you laughing and crying, a sweet way to see Lydia coming into her own. I've always hoped someone might write about a growing Lydia, she deserved the chance to be more than the silly foil to her elegant sisters. And the overall moral of being less judgemental, less gossip mongering, and of spreading kindness is wonderful. A real treat for anyone, especially Austen lovers.

Marvelous, A Sheer Delight and Amazing Narrator

Another amazing adventure for Veronica and Stoker, and again a masterful performance by Angele Masters. Fun, a little dark, and delightful, not to be missed.

Wonderful, Another Amazing Adventure

The story was marvelous, the narration superb as always. Our favorite pair of natural historians/detectives thrills again, and the author has cleverly wrote their story in a way that doesn't allow the romance to go stale. Well done.

Another Wonderful Mystery, Absolutely Marvelous

Deanna Raybourn and Angèle Master did it again, absolutely perfect. Kept me guessing for the most part, lots of lovely details and colorful characters! The narrator is, as always, superb. Well deserving of 5 stars.

Sweet Story, Narrator Could Improve

I love Linda Lael Miller and all the Springwater books, I had read them all before listening on audible. I give it 5 stars because the writing is good and the story is good but I will say the narration is lacking; the narrator mispronounced words and when speaking the part of Gage she seemed to rush her speaking to the point of me slowing down the pace because it was so annoying. Otherwise a sweet edition to Springwater.

Lovely, As Always

Love the Bridgertons! Had to close out the family with Gregory, and the story was as wonderful as ever! Simon Preble is a superb narrator.

Another Marvelous Speedwell Installment

Absolutely wonderful, I love the Veronica Speedwell books and, as ever, this one didn't disappoint! Ms. Masters is in excellent form as the narrator, as always. Wonderful, just wonderful.

A sweet, frolicksome, young person's adventure, but still enjoyable for an older audience! The narrator is fabulous and the story well written, although I would expect nothing less from Molly Harper.
