A tale of castles, crowned princes, lands taken by the power of swords. A story about children who inherit their ancestors’ special powers to help their people in their greatest fight to keep their country.
The narration reminded me of my imagined hearing of other heroic poems such as Beowulf and the Canterbury Tales around camp fires and spoken in great castle walls. I recommend this adventure story for readers of all ages.

Enough suspense to have you sit down and pay attention

It is also about caring for family while neglecting that which is important to the caregiver. I spent hours with these characters. A sequel to Bear Town. Or your first introduction to the characters, it doesn't matter, you will learn to love and be confused by them because that's the type of story it is. It is a reflection of life. Not everyone gets a happy ending.

This was a wonderful surprise purchase. I did not know it was a continuation of Arthur Trulove. I’m always wistful when a good story is over. It feels as if my friends have moved away.

Her descriptions of love and loving will warm your heart and have you cherishing your partner.
I enjoyed listening to this story while I ran errands, waited for a long train to pass, and while driving on the highway. A lovely way to listen, contemplate and enjoy the moments I was present in.
