Great for Bedtime

My oldest daughter (about to turn 7) really loved these stories. She asked it to listen to them before bedtime every day for a couple weeks until she finished them all and then begged for new stories just like it.

My girls and I really enjoy the narrator but the stories themselves are kind of weird and not wholly appropriate (in my opinion) for young children. There is a lot of "violence", such as characters hitting or trying to eat other characters. Some of the stories are just weird, like the mouse who goes to visit his mother and ends up exchanging his worn out feet for new ones. My girls (ages 5 and 4) love Frog and Toad by were not fans of this book. We returned it.

Highly Enjoyed by Young Children

My daughters (ages 5 and 4) love these stories. They request them nearly every time we get in the car and laugh hysterically. We have all the books at home and they like to read them together, as well. I'm not a huge fan of Toad, who is quite a grump but Frog makes up for it and is a good example to point out to my girls.
