I LOVED this book.

I just found Hope Harbor, for FREE, on Audible and now I will be buying and listening to many more books by Irene Hannon. I also loved the narration. I seldom write a review and I am about to begin the 2nd book in this series and hope they are each as good as Hope Harbor. I can't believe she has written over 45 books, and won awards and I haven't heard of her, so thanks Audible.

I loved this book and highly recommend it. This should be used in high school civics classes instead of or in addition to the current textbooks. Great idea and a wonderful book. Highly entertaining. I know I will listen to this again and again.

No surprise-this is excellent

Highly recommend. Ordered immediately after your appearance on Late Night and finished in one day. So sad that everyone is still dealing with racism. I enjoyed listening and hopefully long overdue improvements are on the horizon. I was waiting to hear the Disneyland story and enjoyed the sleepy dad song. All the best to your terrific family. Excited about your 2nd season on Peacock and maybe your next book with more of your own Amber stories, some of which you recounted on Late Night and in this book. Great job.

I totally enjoyed hearing Sunny read her story

I highly recommend this Audible book. I bought it the day it released and listened to it the same day. Sunny Hostin is terrific on The View and did a great job telling her story. I feel like I know her much better now. Her family should be especially proud of her to be willing to tell her story. Outstanding job, very well done.

The Best "Great Courses" book I have purchased

Laurie Cameron's voice is so soothing and perfect for this book. I know I will listen to it many more times. This is the best "Great Courses" audible book I have ever ordered. I will be checking soon to see if she has written or narrated any other authors' books. I highly recommend "The Power of Self-Compassion".

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I am very impressed and will get more Audible books. I thought Jim did a wonderful job of reading this book. I was able to listen to it playing in the background in two sessions, next time I will be taking notes. Great job, very concise and good information. A good mix of people I was familiar with and a few I hadn't heard about before. I'm now looking forward to downloading the mini-book mentioned at the end.

Have you listened to any of Jim Seybert’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I'm trying my first Audible book. I heard Jim discussing Audible on a local radio show. I think Jim did a great job and I will be looking for more that he has read. I liked the content of this book and will also look for more by this author, Leonard Mack.

Any additional comments?

I don't know what took me so long to join Audible and try my first book. I will definitely recommend to my friends although many of them are already members.
