A lot of detail exists here that certainly surpasses what a typical backyard chicken keeper would be interested in knowing. I was more in the market for practical and handy tricks to make managing the chickens easier. The information in the book seems more suitable for someone who wants to devote of their time toward chicken raising with a delight for making things more perfect than necessary. Those people do exist I suppose..

For some reason I really enjoy listening to Jordan Peterson and this book particularly when I am working on my New flooring project. There is something about the message that he sends that makes it infinitely more fun to do things that are productive and worthwhile. I think it's the spirit of positivity and productivity or some magic mixture Of a message that really sits well with me. 5 stars for sure.

there was no need to make oceans 11 a book

if you enjoyed oceans 11, the movie about a highly sophisticated and calculated robbery... so much that you watched oceans 12, 13, and just wish it would go to 20 then this is the book for you.
but if you think that kind of storyline lacks meaning and significance then you're going to think that about this book because its the same thing.
the annoying overzealous ploy at character development was my other reason for getting a little more than half way through this and prefering the silence and my own imagination and shutting it off.
with each chapter swapping to another characters deep emotional struggle i felt like a sad and confused pregnant woman trying to shake my fist at the sky with one hand and shovel ice cream with the other.
I then decided that this was such an averse way of being to the way I normally am that I decided to leave the author to her sad misery all by herself. the end.
