Historia
Recently divorced and reluctantly retired, Julia Bird has fled London to enjoy idyllic rural life in the Cotswolds. Determined to have the perfect English garden, her first job is to tear down the old shed, where she unearths much more than she’d bargained for: a body, apparently buried for decades. But who could it be, and who killed them? The police draw a blank, and even the gossip-fest that is the local book club can’t remember anyone going missing in the village.

Historia
Martha Ratliff conceded long ago that she’d likely spend her life alone. She was fine with it, happy with her solo existence, stimulated by her work as a librarian in Maine. But then she met Alan, a charming and sweet-natured salesman whose job took him on the road for half the year. When he asked her to marry him, she said yes, even though he still felt a little bit like a stranger.

Could've been better
Revisado: 11-07-24
While I'm no author, I predicted the course of this story, and want my credit refunded. The Lily character sounded AI generated, and the ending was lame.

Too much on Enzo's looks!
Revisado: 10-23-24
I skipped several chapters and it took way too long for the story to get going. This story didn't hold my interest like the first two books.

Historia
From the moment I meet my new mother-in-law in her beautiful country house, she makes it clear I’m not welcome. Lilian Fletcher hates me for marrying her precious boy on a golden beach far away from her. Starting our marriage living in the Fletchers’ family home is a nightmare. Then I discover Seb was married before and his first wife is dead. I wonder why the man I love didn’t tell me the truth. And I wonder what happened to her: the woman who came before me. How did she die?

Overreact much?
Revisado: 05-01-23
Katie Villa did a great job narrating, but the storyline was unbelievable. I don't know of any wife who cares so much about an ex-wife, I'm unimpressed with this lame story that I couldn't finish. I'm sorry I used my credits for this story.
