This was kind of deep

First it took me way too long to finish this but I'll blame that on the personal bad news . . . Okay! Scream meets You're Not Supposed to Die Tonight is definitely the way to describe this. There were masks, blood, knives and a final girl . . . repeat because this all happened before.
Good story, I was just VERY disappointed with the villain this time.

I'm glad for herself that she stayed . . . I guess I'm glad for the guys also because of how they treat her. This was cute . . . and HOT!

How Sway? This was a good way to tell his story and for him to find love. With hard work! So that he feels like he earned it considering how much guilt he harbors. Eva was perfect for him and his experience made him perfect for her.

I REALLY enjoyed this! I love that Ferguson (the female - human - love interest) also has magic. Granted, it's only within the boundaries of the Inn, but that works for me, and that is enough for Kruger considering his immense power. I almost feel like all of the problems can not be solved in one book (there is only one book left). What will happen next!

Awww Poor Amelia!

It's not easy being the only kid in camp not athletically competent. But, she is very much magically musically inclined, and camp needs her. There is so much packed into this little novella and I loved every bit of it. Can't wait to dive into book 1 to find out what happens during her audition.

Poor Elijah. He just want to live his life doing the thing he loves most without being ridiculed by his own father (who doesn't want him) and feel appreciated. However, he finds himself falling further and further into a hole he's having a difficult time digging himself out of. Poor baby! At least he has GREAT friends. Tori is my favorite . . . A female Barbarian?!?!?!

See, Kassam is cursed with hedonism. He's a god from another world, accidentally stuck in ours. Anyone (and everyone) around him falls under his spell. It's impossible to resist. Like scratching an itch. And being around Kassam? Boy, do I itch. But trying to send the god home to his world is a near-impossible task.

Not my favorite of the series but I like that it started on Earth and didn't thrust the female into an unfamiliar world without all of their comforts which I notice A LOT of Ruby Dixon books tend to do. In this book, Carly was given a heads up and a warning with enough time to prepare to go to a new world that would not be as developed as hers was. I enjoyed this nonetheless.

In Olaf's quest to get more stories - because he has sooooooo much time on his hands that not only has he finished ALL of the books in the castle but he's also finished ALL the books in the Arendale library!!! What better quest could he have gotten but but to get more stories. And lucky for him, everyone he encounters has a story for him. This was cute.
