Historia
Viv's career with the notorious mercenary company Rackam's Ravens isn't going as planned. Wounded during the hunt for a powerful necromancer, she's packed off against her will to recuperate in the sleepy beach town of Murk—so far from the action that she worries she'll never be able to return to it. What's a thwarted soldier of fortune to do? Spending her hours at a beleaguered bookshop in the company of its foul-mouthed proprietor is the last thing Viv would have predicted, but it may be both exactly what she needs and the seed of changes she couldn't possibly imagine.

Historia
When a ghost ship is discovered, its crew presumed dead after trying to reach the storm-shrouded island Akina, Navani Kholin must send an expedition to make sure the island hasn't fallen into enemy hands. Knights Radiant who fly too near find their Stormlight suddenly drained, so the voyage must be by sea. Shipowner Rysn Ftori lost the use of her legs but gained the companionship of Chiri-Chiri, a Stormlight-ingesting winged larkin, a species once thought extinct. Now Rysn's pet is ill, and any hope for Chiri-Chiri’s recovery can be found only at the ancestral home of the larkin.

Historia
Deep down here by the dark water lived old Gollum, a small slimy creature. I don’t know where he came from, nor who or what he was. He was Gollum—as dark as darkness, except for two big round pale eyes in his thin face. He had a little boat, and he rowed about quite quietly on the lake; for lake it was, wide and deep and deadly cold.

Andy Serkis is well worth repurchasing this title
Revisado: 05-02-22
I already had the audio books for this series, of course, no self respecting fantasy genre listener wouldn't? But when seeing another release available... and narrated by Andy Serkis himself? I snagged a copy and consumed it greedily! Well worth it in my opinion... Now on to the main course!

True classic, strange performance
Revisado: 09-30-17
I had a long drive ahead of me and needed something to help melt the miles. This book, certainly, fit the bill. I was somewhat excited about the multiple talented voices and looked forward to their performances. The final product was a bit disjointed, though. At times they used the voice actors and at times they instead used the narrator. This took a bit of getting used to and was a bit distracting through the whole story. I still liked it, but was thrown by this for a few secs when it happened.

Historia
McCullough's John Adams has the sweep and vitality of a great novel. This is history on a grand scale, an audiobook about politics, war, and social issues, but also about human nature, love, religious faith, virtue, ambition, friendship, and betrayal, and the far-reaching consequences of noble ideas. Above all, it is an enthralling, often surprising story of one of the most important and fascinating Americans who ever lived.
