Nobody remembers how the Causality War started. Really, there's no-one to remember and nothing for them to remember if there were; that's sort of the point. We were time warriors and we broke time. I was the one who ended it. Ended the fighting, tidied up the damage as much as I could. Then I came here, to the end of it all, and gave myself a mission: to never let it happen again.

another brilliant work from Tchaikovsky that deals with the paradoxes of time, travel in a thoughtful and entertaining way. A novel that studies the consequences of our actions and the morality of human struggle with a decent dash of humor to make the entire experience thoroughly enjoyable. highly recommend

I got lucky; when a probe exploring the Oort Cloud found a strange alien rock and an international team of scientists was put together to go and look at it, I made the draw. I got even luckier. When disaster hit and our team was split up, scattered through the endless cold tunnels, I somehow survived. Now I'm lost, and alone, and scared, and there's something horrible in here. Lucky me.

fantastic story, per usual. well rounded plot with good science fiction, humor, and enough depth to make you care about the characters. has a real HHGTTG vibe but not afraid to explore darker and more serious emotions. author does a fantastic job narrating his own story. highly recommend!!!!

Epic trilogy that rivals Tolkien's LOTR.
Amazing read of a rich universe with beautifully painted characters. Includes a perfect amount of comedic relief, riveting tension, sadness/happiness, danger, excitement.
Will definitely be reading this series to my young children. I hope it becomes a childhood favorite for them.
Only criticism is that it is too short.
Adrian Tchaikovsky is now my 2nd favorite author next to Issac Asimov. He's THAT good. You should read all his books!
