Good story but there were so many words mispronounced

I liked the story but the number of word mispronunciations was so distracting that it took away from the story. Also, I had to speed up the book because the narration was quite slow and tedious.

Good story, didn’t like narrator

I think I would have liked this book better if I had read it. The narrative was sooooo dramatic and overdone. Also don’t appreciate the gay character that seemed to be there just so it could have one. Definitely not something important to the story. Why every book and movie has to have some, I don’t understand.

I love Charles Martin’s books! I find I can read them at one point in my life and they speak to me one way and differently at other times! He is a Christian who is a writer and the message of unconditional love runs in and out of every book! Highly recommend this book!

I have long been a fan of Lisa Wingate that this book was absolutely amazing! The narration was great and truly equaled the storytelling. The only sad thing about it was that it ended.

The story and performance of it were absolutely wonderful! I will be looking for more books both from this author and performer. I can’t wait to go watch the Wizard of Oz again and see it in a whole new way after this book!
